  • The only salmon habitat in a once mighty Columbia River is in trouble. Sediment is filling in spawn beds of the Hanford Reach in Washington State (USA). SOLUTION: Open the floodgates, and reset the River once per year. Problem: Greedy government will say it costs billions, and resist until it's too late. Not to mention their radioactive mess.
