W.A.S.T.E. App for Berlin

We are trying out a new app at the Berlin show tonight and tomorrow. It will allow you to watch the live cameras on your smart phone. It only works while you are at the gig, and connected to the Radiohead wifi network.

Currently we only have the iOS version working. Go to the App store and search for StageCam, and help us test the system,

The light-brown with a slender body; the dubbing twirled upon small red silk, and raised with the point of a needle, that the ribs or rows of silk may appear through: the grey feajher of a mallard forms the wings.4. The little-dun. The dubbing of a bear's dun-hair, whirled upon yellow silk; the wings of the grey feather of the mallard.5. The white-gnat. This is composed of a black head, and a pale wing.6. The peacock-fly; the body of the whirl of a peacock's feather, with a red head, and the wings of the feather of a mallard. , '1. The cow-lady, a small fly: the wings of a red feather, or stripes of a red hackle of a cock : the body of[a peacock's feather.8. The cow-dung-fly: the dubbing a mixture of lightbrown and yellow, and the wing trie dark-grey feather of a mallard. It is to be remarked, that all the hackles and flies taken in April will be taken this month; only the flies must be smaller, and the hackles brighter. We Tory Burch Flats will now proceed to those flies which are most in esteem this month, viz.1. The dun-cut. Dub with bear's-cub fur, and a little yellow and green crewel; warp with yellow or green; a large dun wing, and two horns at the head, made of the hair of a squirrel. This fly almost certainly kills.2. The artificial green-drake. This comes in about, or soon after, the twentieth of the month, and is taken at all hours till the end of June in stony rivers. Observe the following directions to make it. On a large hook dub with camel's hair, bright bear's hair, the soft down that is combed from a hog's bristles, and yellow camlet well intermixed; the body long and ribbed about with green silk, or rather yellow silk waxed with green wax: the wisks of the tail of the long hair of sables, or fitchet; and the wings of the white-grey feather of a mallard dyed yellow.3. The artificial stone-fly. Make it of bear's dun-hair, with a little brown and yellow camlet well mixed, but disposed in such a manner, that on the belly, and towards the tail underneath, the fly may be more yellow than on any other part. Place two or three hairs of a black cat's beard on the top of the hook, in the arming, so as to be turned up when you warp Tory Burch Outlet on your dubbing, and to stand almost upright. Rib your fly with yellow silk; make the wings long and large, of the dark-grey feather of a mallard.4. The black-fly. The body black, the whirl of an ostrich feather, ribbed with silver twist, and the hackle of a black cock overall: this fly will kill, but is not to be mentioned with the two preceding.5.

procured : the body very small, and the wings not to extend beyond it.-7. After the middle of this month use the bright Tory Burch Outlet brown, which continues in use till about the tenth of April. The dubbing for it is to be had out of a skinner's lime-pits, of the hair of an abortive calf, which will be turned to goldcolour by the strength of the lime. The feather of a brown hen is best for the wings.« APRIL.The hackles and flies in March are the same as those in this month ; but the browns must be lapped with red silk, and the duns with yellow. In this month are likewise taken,1. The small bright brown, which is made of spaniel's fur, with a light grey wing. This is taken in clear water, on a bright day.2. The dark brown; the dubbing of the same colour, intermixed with violet-coloured camlet. The wing of the grey feather of a mallard.3. From the sixth to the tenth of this month use the violet-fly, which is made of a dark violet stuff, with the wings of the dark feather of a mallard.attended him in that expedition, made a vow, that till it was taken she would never change her clothes. Contrary to expectation, as the story says, it was three years before the place was reduced, in which time her highness's linen had Tory Burch Flats acquired the abovementioned hue."N.B. This colour is whitish yellow, or buff colour a little soiled.4. The whirling-dun. This is made of the down of a fox-cub, and ribbed about with yellow silk: the wings of the pale grey feather of a mallard. This fly is usually taken at noon, from the twelfth of the month to the end of it, and occasionally to the end of June.5. The yellow-dun. Dub with a small quantity of pale yellow cruel, mixed with fox-cub down from the tail, and warp with yellow: the wing of a palish starling's feather. This fly is taken from eight to eleven in the morning, and from two to five in the afternoon. Is is a good fly for April and May.6. The horse-flesh-fly. The dubbing of this is a blue mohair, with a pink-coloured and red tammy mixed ; the. wing light-coloured, and the head dark-brown. This fly is taken through the month, and kills best from two hours before sun-set, till night.MAY.This month and the following are more favourable to the fly-angler than all others in the year ; wherefore we shall be very particular in describing the flies proper to be used ; and first speak of those kinds that are least in esteem.1. The turkey-fly. The dubbing ravelled out of some blue staff, and lapped about with yellow silk: the wings of the feather of a grey mallard.2. The great-hackle, or palmer-fly; the body yellow.

Paula - a real bear? Yes

People mistook Paula for a real bear, and said: "why are you doing this to a poor bear? Ain't you the ones to save her?"

and

"Why did you take this poor bear into such a hot and warm place, see, shes suffering, look at those sad eyes."

It's fascinating, because people don't realize that this is happening. We don't take bears in a warm place- we take the warm place to them. It's the same...

So, apart from the douchebaggery of some people:

greenpeace - save the arctic

Hey

We are bringing Greenpeace on the road with us..

We support their campaign to save the Arctic from oil drilling and mining as the ice get thinner through global warming.

Drawing a line somewhere in the ice saying, ok that's enough, no further. The madness stops here. Break this spell.

If you are coming along i hope you can get time to go and talk to them.

Best wishesish

やあ。

僕らはグリーン・ピースと一緒にツアーを廻ってる。

地球温暖化によって氷が減少していってしまうのと同様に、採油のためのボーリングと採鉱から北極を守ろうというキャンペーンを支援しているんだ。

Elvis Prestwick

11010971081?profile=original

Looking forward to seeing Radiohead for the 17th time on 9 October (the first was the Astoria in May 1994).

In between the last time and now I wrote and produced a short film called "Elvis Prestwick", showing a strait-laced office worker's life transformed by meeting Elvis Presley on the only visit ever to the UK by the King of Rock and Roll. See above, and https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Elvis-Prestwick/220560841330683 for more, and please click "like" when you get there!

Many thanks

Royston.

Radio Heads

So, yesterday I had insomnia and started thinking about the concept of radiohead. What is a radiohead? It's someone who receives loads of data- habits, images, songs, voices. Therefore, we all are radioheads. We're bombarded with tons of data, advertising and junk of every type. But there must be two kinds of readiohead - those who mindlessly listen to the data stream and execute most, if not each command they receive (fitter, happier, more productive, integrate, thinking is not necessary, every resistance is futile) then there are those who channel this data river and reelaborate these jigsaw pieces

mix them all into something beautiful, a still picture of a moment, but not to follow the flock- to show how bad things can become if we all do it... Eventually I fell asleep

Music

Music can serve in so many ways.

For me, it's a creative outlet that allows me to be "free" unlike any other form art.  Whether it be listening or creating music, I do it for the feeling that leaves me wondering "how does someone create such a piece that moves me so much." When I say "me", I mean more than my senses pick up and whatever signals are sent to my brain. I feel an almost spiritual connection to whatever I am listening to and whoever created it. It's as though the sounds I hear permeate into my being and I feel the emotions that the song is expressing.

I'm not trying to sound deep.

I'm just trying to be real.

Most of the time this feeling, which I can only describe as indescribable, come about when listening to, of course, Radiohead. I don't know what it is about the synths/pianos and vocals that Thom brings out, or the chords and melodies that Ed strums, or the solos that Jonny creates, or the bass lines that Colin lays down, or the rythms that Philip plays that open up my mind to music which simply makes sense. Their music to me is like a sort of lover. How can such a beautiful thing come into existence? She must be extra-ordinary. My heart melts for/at her. I have never been in love, but if I had to image what it felt like, it would be like the effect of me listening to "Weird Fishes" or "Killer Cars" or "A Wolf At The Door" or so much more.

It is just right.

And the only thing that I can do when creating music is try to convey this. Maybe at times it is too obvious how I need this feeling to be expressed, but I'm still developing. Below are some of my songs which are not yet completed. They are somewhat bare, but I see potential in them. I feel the need to push myself to achieve what Radiohead has done because why shouldn't as many people experience what I have with their music. I suppose it will take time, but just like a lover, does it not get better with time?

"Your Hands"

"7 and 9"

"I'll Do Something Special With The Money"

"Wednesday"
