Hey there, to whomever reads this. I´m really angry right now.

I´ve been waiting a lifetime to see Radiohead and I always told myself when the moment came I´d do it right.

When the venue was changed for this concert I was told my ticket could be exchanged for a Front Standing Ticket or I could have a refund instead. Given that I was offered the Front Standing Ticket I decided to go for it instead of the refund. However, if I had known the possibility existed of getting a seated ticket by selecting this option, I WOULD HAVE ASKED FOR A REFUND. I´ve been in the Cricket Ground before in Manchester and being seated is the worst possible sound and concert experience I´ve had in my life.

But this wasn´t said to me. I am so frustrated and so angry. Now I can´t even resell my ticket at face value, get a refund, or see the concert the way I wanted to see it.

I am so sad, frustrated, and angry. I have no where to go and nothing I can do. Bought my train tickets which no one will refund either.  Man, it´s just a matter of making the front area slightly bigger in order to fit the 40/50 of us that have the same scenario where we were supposed to get Front Standing but instead we´re now seated (Eventim mentioned I was one of the very few that had to be seated...) . Below is a screenshot of the email where I´m offered a refund or the replacement ticket. I was promised one thing and given another one, in any place in the world that is unfair.

Please help somebody? Is anybody in the same boat as me?

Macerata, august 2017

I did not manage to buy tickets for the concert in Macerata.

Do not give me peace, I'm crying. 36 years old and I'm crying.

After so many Radiohead concerts, I can not go to what is the dream concert of my life.

The organization of ticket sales was bad. I did everything possible.

I feel like shit.

Manchester

Dear all, I dunno if this is the right place to post this. Sorry for the inconveniences if it's not. I'm attending the Manchester gig next week. I have two standing tickets and I'm desperately trying two swap them for two front pitch ones. If anyone can help or give any advice on this, she or he will have my eternal gratitude.

Glastonbury

Been wondering whether to post this horrible episode from Glastonbury, but a few people said that I should, so here goes.

On Friday, I managed to get to the front row of the Pyramid stage for Radiohead and was having a great time, apart from the two very irritating gucci little piggies that were next to me, talking like detuned radios through The XX. One of them had made the front row just to my right, and decided her friend should also be there with her. So much so that she got offended when I declined their request for me to swap places.

Anyway, after the last song had played and the band had walked off set, two security guards came and stood facing me across the barrier asked me to hold my arms out, then proceeded to lift me out of the crowd and take me away. I didn't have a clue what was happening and they said they couldn't tell me - for a split second I thought "maybe the band thought I was amazing and want to meet me " (I hadn't been drinking), but then I saw two policemen there at the end of the barriers.

Apparently, the irritating women next to me had told the police that I looked Turkish, I'd said I was Taliban, and they thought that I was carrying a knife. Now at this point I have to point out that both the Avon and Somerset police, and the security team, were all cool, very friendly, very communicative, but still very professional. They didn't think there was anything in the claim but they have to follow up on every report, which is of course entirely understandable.

I tried to engage with the people as little as possible because they were so obnoxious (where possible I'll take the quiet life). And there was actually a really cool person to my left that was a bass player in a band and so I was mostly trying to talk to her (in spite of the fog horn in my right ear). I suppose in the few words that I said to the idiots, they *may* *possibly* have misunderstood "We're all big Radiohead fans here" with "I'm Taliban" (maybe they're a bit deaf?) And the one next to me *perhaps* *genuinely* had thought my bank card was a knife.

Personally, I believe the truth is that these people said this stuff about me in an attempt to get the friend on the front row at my expense, and that's very fucked up. I had a joke about it with the police and security, but once I'd been processed and left them I started feeling like a weirdo, wondering what the hell am I doing here. I spent most of that night and Saturday thinking about getting my stuff and pissing off home.

Luckily my friends knew what to do - mercilessly ripping the piss out of me - and I was back on my A game by the time the Foos rocked up on stage on Saturday night. But what happened isn't right, in fact it is fucking dangerous in the current climate, and so I genuinely think these people should be held accountable for their actions. I fully expect them to deny it, these people have no sense of responsibility for their actions; but they should be told they fucked up big time, at the very least.

All I really know about her is that they are from Essex, were staying in offsite expensive camping and probably had hospitality tickets for the festival. By sheer chance, a friend sent me a pic from the BBC 2 output and you can see the one standing next to me, but I can't face watching the footage to find a better picture or her or her friend.

I'm not the best at this social media thing, but please share this shit out and let's see if I can get some form of redress - just to tell her "This is what you get, when you mess with us".

Love to all the real fans that made being in the crowd a joy,
Nin

Dear all, First of all congratulations on OK not OK :D magnificent clip of Man of War!!! We're busy with a project to give musicians more space to get their message through to an audience. We do this by enriching instruments with a custom design. It stretches from little pickguards of guitars to whole guitar/ other instuments bodies, Cajons, drumkits. We're in a far stage in the testing phase, and would love to give you a prototype especially made for Radiohead! Is it possible sending it to you or giving it in person? Our website is www.imaginemusic.nl (dutch project, you can see some of our first works. We work with as much organic materials as possible, the only thing with the electric pickguards is that they need a certain material so the sound stays good, that's by our knowing unfortunately synthetic material, but maybe you will have other ideas about this. We'd love to learn all there is!!! :D) We hope we'd hear from you, I think radiohead of all bands knows exactly how to get a message over to their audience, and our art could be an enrichment of your message!! :D All the best, and happy rock 'n rolling tonight at Glastonbury, Gerard Steur

Re: BDS etc...

Folks, I'm hugely disappointed that you want to go on with your gig in Tel Aviv: please don't.

Here again, why:

http://www.tikkun.org/nextgen/wonder-woman-radiohead-and-bds-by-mark-levine

Please have another good think please, you boycotted already South Africa in its Apartheid era, I cannot think why you mak a difference for Israel.

The whole issue is simply that the right-wing government under Benjamin Netanyahu does not recognise the Palestinians right as an independent state - or indeed to exist. Their expansion on their territory has been officially recognised to be in breach of the Geneva Convention  of Human Rights.

Here, an entire website devoted to explaining why Israel is an apartheid state, they're a rather wondeful grass roots effort made up of activists, students, academics, young people, older people, Jews, Christians, Muslims, Palestinians and Israelis:

http://itisapartheid.org/get_informed.html

So why ever would you legitimize a state like that with you performing there?

Please - please rethink.

Thanks guys,

Hal, London
