Favourite music

As well as Radiohead, a bit of everything from Rory G. to Jonny G, Siouxsie to Joni, from Fairport to the Who, Faure to Miles D and Hendrix. Bowie's up near the top too, as are One Giant Leap, and Mark Hollis/Talk Talk. Generally speaking, if it makes me cry or dance (or both), and gives me goosebumps, it gets a thumbs up from me!! Currently bingeing on "all things Rush," following the tragic and unexpected death of drumming legend and remarkable man/mind, Neil Peart.

Favourite books

I'm currently absolutely taken with Robert Macfarlane's books, thanks to a fellow WASTE member. There are too many books that I've enloyed, but in recent years, Derek Jarman's biographical volumes were amongst the books that I couldn't put down. (a bit like Macfarlane's, I had to limit myself to a few pages at a time)
