Currently reading Jon Ajvide Lindqvist - Let The Right One In Haven't gotten around to see the movie. Usually I abhor vampire stories but when I read the blurb of this one I found the main character seems to be yet another incarnation of little Oskar Mazerath from The Tin Drum (another being Oskar Schnell from Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close).

Favourite movies

One of my favorite movie scenes comes from 'Arizona Dream' when the ambulance carrying Leo Sweetie flies off into the next life. It's always strikes me as such a weirdly soothing, beautiful counterpart to the violent and hyperventilated (but equally joyous) exit/escape of the heroines in 'Thelma and Louise'. (that scene also features a weeping Johnny Depp, what else could you want? ;-) )
