I like old Russian books. Crime and Punishment, Notes from Underground, A Hero Of Our Time, anything by Gogol, Pushkin, etc... The Bell Jar, Catcher In The Rye, All Quiet on the Western Front... the list goes on and on.

I don't really like movies that much but I really like Groundhog Day and Fight Club :D Best movie ever.
