Favourite music
Somewhat unsurprisingly, Radiohead are at the top of the list, along with anything by David Bowie - although I especially like the Berlin Trilogy and Scary Monsters - The Smiths, Morrissey; these are my favourites, but I'll happily listen to anything really, as long as it's not sickeningly sweet garbage from High School Musical... or Babyshambles, Pete Doherty kind of strikes me as a bit of a twat, bless him. I also like Franz Ferdinand, James Brown, Moby, Blur, I'm quite fond of the hilariously bad old-school 90s rave stuff just because it makes me nostalgic, even a little bit of Bach when I'm in the right kind of mood.
Favourite books
1984
Favourite movies
Apocalypse Now, Chinatown, Dirty Harry, Magnum Force, anything brainless like Rambo, loved Schindler's List, The Wickerman, Get Carter, The Silence Of the Lambs, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, The Good The Bad And The Ugly
Favourite tv shows
Anything without an earth-shatteringly stupid celebrity on it - which, at the risk of sounding cynical, excludes most of what they show on TV these days
Favourite quotes
"England is mine and it owes me a living" - Morrissey, Still Ill "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars" - Oscar Wilde "Isn't it great being on your own? Let's just pull down the blinds and fuck 'em all" - David Bowie, 1977 (not something I necessarily agree with, but I love the fact that he could get away with saying it - shame about the massive chemical intake at the time, though, coke having turned him into a half-crazed misanthropic Nazi...)
