I finally have most of my travel plans figured out. I found a hostel in Hollywood that looks quite nice, and it's less expensive than the sleazy motels I couldn't bear to stay in. I'll be arriving on the 24th, even though I'm not sure if I want to go to the concert that night. I only have one ticket, and I don't really feel like going alone. Plus it's up in the Q area, so it might not even be worthwhile.Phil & I will probably go to a museum or two since we don't have to stand in line for the concert.And I have most of the trip to Santa Barbara figured out. We're arriving on the 27th, giving us some time to walk around before we line up (hopefully not that same night) for the concert. I'm not even sure I'm willing to stand in line all day to get to the barrier this time. But we do have pit tickets so maybe we'll just stand at the back and just listen rather than watch the concert... my only option since I'm short.
