Happy Birthday to Aldous Huxley and Carl Jung

Today is the birthday of Aldous Huxley and Carl Jung. Two profoundly insightful, visionary thinkers. Ahead of their time and ahead of our time. Both dedicated their lives to diving in to the depths of the unconsciousness to gain a deeper and more complete view of the real world.
“Perhaps the forces that now menace freedom are too strong to be resisted for very long. It is still our duty to do whatever we can to resist them." - Aldous Huxley
“As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being.” -Carl Jung
So being as it is their birthday, I can’t think of a better way to spend this day than to see Radiohead in Pittsburgh tonight. Let’s resist the dark powers of the world. Let’s dive in to the darkness and kindle a light. And let’s be fuckin weird while we do it.
