October 2nd was the 10^th anniversary of the official release of Kid A, Radiohead’s fourth album. It was named "album of the decade" by Pitchfork, Rolling Stone and The Times.

The sound of Kid A was quite disconcerting for everybody. Some people said it was commercial suicide while others just didn’t understand it.

On the recording of Kid A, Thom said: "It was necessary to go away and glue back the pieces. In a way, in order to survive, we had to stop being
answerable"

We want to commemorate Kid A by posting here some unforgettable live performances, artwork from the record and articles published recently that pay tribute to the album.

El 2 de octubre pasado fue el décimo aniversario del lanzamiento de Kid A, el cuarto album de Radiohead. Pichfork, Rolling Stone y el diario The Times consideran que Kid A es el mejor disco de la década.

El sonido de Kid A desconcertó a todo el mundo. Algunos dijeron que era un

suicidio commercial y otros simplemente no pudieron entenderlo.
