P A P E R M A P S -- album finished -- deal in Canada

Dear friends at WASTE CENTRAL,

Just an update to the previous post. We (Papermaps) finished our record (it's being "pressed" as I write this) -- its new "street drop date" is April 19th, 2011. The name of the record is simply, Papermaps. It has beautiful cover artwork painted a Canadian fine artist named, Miyoshi Kondo. This is happening because we signed to an indie label here in Canada called Sparks Music. They have a nation-wide distribution network. As a result we will be touring Central Canada April 15-29, playing about 8 towns/cities. In October we will embark on an East-Coast tour (including Montreal). Canada is an impossibly large country! Maybe one day (soon) we'll get to play outside Canada -- hopefully the UK. Our deal is small in the sense that physical albums will only ship within Canada (special orders being an exception), but what does it matter in this day and age? Come late April, you can find us on itunes or (even better) bandcamp. Right now we have a 7-inch single available on both bandcamp and insound.

I've taken down a few songs and uploaded a new one to called, Can't Make a Living. It's the 3rd track on the album. There's a few more songs floating around "out there" on the internet, if you are interested.

cheers,

-d
