If you find yourself in Oklahoma City [for God's know's what reason] on New Years' Eve, then it turns out you will be in one of the less boring places on Earth given the fact The Flaming Lips are hosting a larger-than-life party bonzanza.
For the 5th time, Wayne & Co. are setting up shop to host a two-night massive "freakout" that promises to be anything but tame [and lame]. What do these crazy southerners have in store for you drunk bastards?
Besides having the Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band appearing as special guests for both nights, the bash will give fans access to rare Lips projects including the now-infamous gummy fetus, new live album, The Soft Bulletin: Live La Fantastique de Institution 2011 [quite a mouthful!], and their six-hour long song 'Found A Star On The Ground', which comes packaged on a USB drive in a light illusion toy called 'The Strobo Trip.' -- a device of his own twisted, trippy creation.
The party is going down at the Bricktown Events Center in the aforementioned city of their origin, and tickets are up for grabs at $100 a night, or $150 for both.
