late night curfew rainless

I walked past the vending machine and found a line of people, all collapsed, with money clenched tightly in their hands. Their parched mouths all inching closer to intended salvation. The ones in the front are disappointed to find the machine sold out and the ones in the back are overjoyed to see the queue moving so quickly. As the people begin to depart they realise how thirsty they are and return to the line. I walked past this and thought how odd it was I noticed only two seasons.

Grammy Awards...

Not that I am a big fan of the Award shows here in the US. BUT I am excited to see Radiohead up for 5 nominations in tonight's awards. :-) I could careless about the rest of the nonsense. I'm sorry I missed the Grammy's that Thom, Jonny and company played 15 Step at. I bet it was awesome! I have seen the clip on Youtube. Anyway. Good luck tonight Radiohead! I love you! PS-Fans around the world...can you feel the energy and vibes building? They are coming soon to play in a city near you, if you are so lucky! I am not so lucky, but still can feel the energy growing!

Discovering Radiohead...

I first heard Radiohead when Creep was released in the US. I bought Pablo Honey, and I knew then that this was a special band. I unfortunately was unaware when they released The Bends. The next thing I remember that I fell in love with Karma Police. Who was this band anyway? And the guy singing...OMG! I loved Thom's voice and lyrics. Still...I didn't dive deeper. My very close nephew, whom is one year younger than I, kept telling me that I love Ok Computer. Hmmm...what was I doing that I wasn't listening to him? Dating someone whom loved country music...UGH! Anyway. I also remember buying the sound track to the Claire Dane's, Leonardo DeCaprio;s Romeo and Juliet. Mainly for the Garbage song on the disk, but I gave it a listened and realized that Radiohead was on it and I feel in love with Talk Show Host. Funny though, after the late ninties, I forgot about the song until a couple of months ago. In 2003, my nephew gave me a copy of OK Computer. He had my sister/his mother listening to and loving it. 2007, I became close friends with a new co-worker, whom Radiohead is her favorite band. I started giving Ok Computer a listen to at work periodically, but one can never appreciate it fully until you give a listen through headphones. OH MY GOD! It began happening a year ago. I started to listen more frequently to OKC. I had bought In Rainbows, Amnesiac, Kid A from my nephew, he had to sell his huge cd collection. I gave them a half hearted listen once in a blue moon at work. My friend at work bought King of Limbs as soon as it came out. Then I started giving OKC a better listen. This past summer, Radiohead engulfed me, mind, body and soul! I'm in love with them and their beautiful music! I can not go a day now without checking in with their website, listening to cds, playing a video, watching endless youtube, looking at the picture thread link on Green Plastic Radiohead, etc, etc... I fall asleep endless nights listening to their music, waking in the morning realizing I had a dream about them. I love all their music. EVERY album! The catalog of music is just inspiring. You may be into In Rainbows for a time, then give Kid A another listen and be like, 'wow! I really love this'. Do this all the time. I can't say I have one favorite song or album. Emotionally, there are certain songs that tug at me deeply, but I can't name them. I feel like I would be cheating on all the other amazing songs.

Ok, I suppose I have gone on a bit. I LOVE YOU RADIOHEAD! I hope you have a wonderful fun and happy time on your tour this year! Please be well and safe. Look after each other. Well all love you! XOXOXOX!!!
