dread

I'm dreading the NYC on sale. No one is going to get tickets unless they do something here like they're talking about in the UK. It's going to be such a nightmare. Getting tickets to shows in NYC particularly in the last 9 months has been difficult to an entirely new level.

Bloom Epigraph

Bloom

“Open your mouth wide, the universal sigh.

And while the ocean blooms, it’s what keeps me alive.

So why does it still hurt? Don’t blow your mind with why.”

-Thom Yorke of Radiohead

As we continue the same motion every day,

in through the nose and out through the mouth,

we rejuvenate our breathing pattern to better our minds.

Each moment we are alive, thoughts continuously weave

in and out of our central nervous system.

Numerously we are exposed to different feelings,

some virtuous, some ominous, some calming, some uncontrollable.

The one thought that always leaves us pondering our

own existences and portrayal of our true physique.

Incoherent and stumbling over the cracks in our cerebrum,

which ooze out fulfillment of our destination,

but only seep into the ground and await its satisfaction.

The one thought that decomposes in our head,

rots our only real source of true happiness to come.

As the ocean breathes everlasting life,

it  contains the ultimate hope that the world will always proceed.

To persevere your spirit in an eternal manner,

the past must be eliminated and the page must be turned.

In through the nose, out through the mouth,

as we continue the motion to release stress within.

But the thought still lingers that’s holding you back.

What has been done, the moment’s already passed.

Bottled up inside, it fucks with your integrity and impedes your head.

But you know what your heart is capable of handling.

It feels a beat that is hard to find, when you know you’re with the right kind.

You know what you’re heart is capable of handling,

don’t let your mind destroy the blood that pumps within.

Don’t blow your mind with why, as you cannot change what is done.

Keep your blood flow running, running, running not thin

That universal sigh, when it’s towering our minds

especially since we thought it has gone with the wind.

Aisle

It was snowing.

All I could smell was the traffic.

My head pounding and then my heart

when

All I could see in a crowd of faces

was you.

Looking into me as if I were naked.

At one point I wanted to take off all my clothes

Like a person who has let go on ecstacy

my jacket, scarf and boots.

Instead I covered my face.

I looked out the window

into the blanket of white,

thinking

"Where am I?"..." I will know when i get closer"

wondering how much time

we could pass in the same place at once.

Staring at the floor

And then back at you.

My heart was pounding so loud

I thought maybe you could hear it

from where you sat. alone.

I got up to get closer, and you left...

then I smiled.

But I can still see you sitting there...

even after you left.

I could still see you.

Disappointment

Crying because I miss out on seeing Radiohead LIVE again....

8 years ago I had tickets to see Radiohead in Melboure Australia. My husband and I flew there in the afternoon (from Adelaide) so excited. We had been fans since very early days. We got in to our hotel and started to get ready for the walk down to the Arena. Stopping in at the bar for a preconcert drink we heard some others talking. I was trying really hard to ignore them but they were saying how bad it was the concert was cancelled... I didn't want to believe them so walked down to the stadium anyway. True enough Thom was sick and cancelled the last day of their tour soo much disappointment. We spend a very sad evening wandering around the streets of Melbourne before flying home again the next day. An expensive weekend.

Well today's efforts of securing tickets to try again have failed. Hail to the Thieves who have managed to score tickets and are now selling them on ebay. I won't be part of that crap so here I am sooo disappointed all over again. :(

Calling Thom Yorke

Thom, I tried to buy tickets this morning for your November shows in Melbourne was dutifully logged in to the ticket agency at 9am this morning. Within the first minute I selected GA Standing room and the response was 'no tickets available'. How can the entire arena possibly be sold old in less than a minute? I tried again this time for 'best available' and was allocated seats in the Upper section, though how the entire lower reserved section could have sold out within the first 3 minutes is beyond me. Anyway I selected the tickets and then the Ticketek system crashed. I tried many times again, but each time the system said there were no tickets available. This is so unfair! The web-site plainly says that you cannot buy more than 4 tickets and you cannot resell for more than face value yet within half an hour eBay is full of people selling tickets for 4 and 5 times the face value. Clearly the warning that people will have their tickets cancelled is no deterrent whatsoever! This is so unfair for loyal fans. The band last toured in 2004 and did 2 shows in Melbourne. I had tickets to the 2nd show and it was cancelled because of your throat. The show was never re-scheduled and this is the first time you  have come back to Melbourne. I could cry ... Simon

an old poem

...posted from the stands in tampa, just prior.FireThe terrible fire of your skinBurns my eyesAnd even while I am flinchingI am staringAs at the domineering glowOf the sun bearing down on the sea:The waves swallow it,But are shredded apart before night falls.Where is the freedom of loveThat the prophets promised?I am visionlessAt the point of a lit rod,Hands raised to a heavenThat rains nothing.
