Just a mention for the father of modern technology. In the united states of complacency/willful ignorance, Nikola Tesla has been all but  completely "looked over". He was not just a delightfully eccentric character that David Bowie played in the Prestige. He was the owner of over 700 patents including: AC power, the generator, vacuum tubes, wireless electricity, bottomless supply of energy. He would have been responsible for a better reality/world, if he had not been betrayed by shadows. Remember, 600 years ago the world was flat, 500 years ago Europeans "discovered" north america, 300 years ago they fought a war for independence here and then turned around and stole this land from the indigenous people, 100 years ago we were just scraping the surface of electricity and the automobile.
