Regular features include “Who’s Hot and Who’s Not”. “Bitches of the Week” “Fashion Minute with Amber” and the most popular segment“What Jamca Hates” (public access channel 4)Only Sleeping- A comedy film about a stoner who decides to hibernate for 25 years in 1985 while working at a life extension center as a janitor and wakes up just in time for his 30th class reunion thinking that looking so young he might impress his high school crush. Hilarity ensues as he tries to understand modern day devices and ways while still using 80’s slang and making dated references. When he wakes up he calls his best friend (who is now 47) who helps him on his journey. In a funny twist at the end the girl he wanted to impress is now a cougar and is attracted to younger men and they finally get together.Palmer- A documentary about how dirty peoples palms are. We take a cross section of 100 people off the street from businesspeople to homeless people to see who really has the dirtiest palms in America. Heading this study is miss Nancy Palmer ( the self proclaimed leading expert on germs and communicable diseases from hands).Petter – a documentary about the people who enjoy trying to touch people without them knowing and their secret online clubs. (Hbo)Pocketbook Angel- This futuristic space film involves a marooned spaceman with only a good luck charm ( a small angel statue) that his daughter gave him before leaving Earth to keep him company. After a freak accident kills the rest of the crew our main character is marooned on a deserted planet. One day, the “pocketbook angel” his daughter gave him somehow starts talking to him and helps him survive . Eventually the pocketbook angel helps lead him to mysterious ruins on the deserted planet where ancient secrets are revealed about not only who left them but revelations about the origins of life as we know it. Until the end of the film you are never quite sure if the astronaut is insane and making everything up or if some alien intelligence is helping him through the statue.( I was requested by pocketbook angel to set her show/film in space.)Pocki- Pocki is about a new street drug in Japan called Pocki. This documentary shows the dangers to the youth who try this lethal combination of the Japanese snack, Pocky brand rat poison ,tic tacs and tiger testicle powder.Poets- This a biopic about the obscure Glasgow psychedelic band known as (the) Poets. Through their friendship with the Rolling Stones, to their recordings on Decca such as “Wooden Spoon”, and “Now We’re Thru”, to the inevitable downfall, and finally to their reunion and triumphant return with their classic hit albums made in the 2010’s (‘I Guess We Aren’t So Thru’ released in 2015 and ‘We Still Have Wooden Spoons’ in 2016) this biopic has it all(this entry brought to you partially by wikipedia and a few youtube clips of the poets. yeah they actually exist! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Poets)Poll- A documentary about polls and how they are they are REALLY done. From poll questions on websites to political polls this hard hitting documentary shows how the results might not be what is given and how it is affecting our lives.Really Dizzy- A woman straight out of college moves to the big city and gets a new job at a fancy law firm. Also, she is getting married in 4 months to the love of her life and then finds out she's pregnant with triplets. Can a working woman really do it all? (nbc)Revilo- This is a documentary about a man named Antonio who holds the record for playing “Reveille” in military service the most times who gets the nickname “Revilo” from the troops. He shares his amusing stories like the time he once scared the hell out of “a future president when he was young” by playing Reveille so hard that he got a concussion from rising out of his bunk and hitting his head. It also reveals the origin of Reveille and how it came to be the official song of the military to awaken solidersRohan- Follows the trails of Rohan the great leader of men in this medieval fantasy show. Lance battles ! Large scale battles! Much drinking and merriment with saucy wenchs and good friends! And even mythical beasts! Did we mention it has a band of little people who are now endeared to Rohan after saving their tribe from an evil dragon? Because it so does! Watch as he travels the land along with his scoundrel brother Arkon and hot/cold romantic interest Kileaas as they kill orcs and bring peace to the land while trying to destroy the relics of their evil power.Romi- Romi is a girl who loves to travel. She teaches kids all about animals and foreign cultures with her puppet sidekick Looki. Occasionally Looki gets too close and is bitten by the featured animal in a humorous way to remind kids not to get to close. The theme song for the show is “Roam” by the B-52’s but with slight variations in the lyrics like “Romi y’know she wants to/roam around the world” and “the trip begins for the kids”Saint Lily- meet Saint Lily the most unorthodox nun in training/ teacher you’ve ever met! She drinks! She curses! She plays pranks! and she has her supervising mother going crazy! Despite her wicked ways she somehow reaches out and teaches things to the kids who can relate to her better than the other nuns. The kids call her Saint Lily while the other nuns just refer to her as “oh, that one”Sarah Juice- A “very special” coming of age movie of the week about a young girl named Sarah who wants desperately to fit in. She soon gets into sports and finds acceptance among her peers but things soon take a bad turn when she discovers the evils of steroids. (lifetime)Scarecrow- In a desolate wasteland after a nuclear war there is a group of survivors laying in wait for it to become safe to rebuild the earth. After a year of living in a bomb shelter in an abandoned farm they begin to run out of supplies and realize that only by gaining more people and rebuilding society will humanity survive. They call out through the airwaves for more survivors to join them on their farm and to meet them at the edge of the land near the scarecrow. The war however has made twisted wrecks of men willing to steal or kill anything that stands in their way of survival so the group is not only in danger from their environment but from those willing to do what it takes to survive. Things get interesting when they find out that there may be other survivor camps and that one of their new recruits may be a spy working from within to steal their supplies and kill them all from a rival camp.Scattermitosis – When messing with genetics in the 1960s the government discovered that by constantly splitting up the cells of an zygote as the cells were going through mitosis they could make limitless clones. Though with each splitting the intelligence of each clone decreased. There were plans of having these clones be mindless organ donors in large farms or possibly dividing the cells only enough to keep them with an intellect of a 3 year old and make them front line soldiers in the Korean and Vietnam wars. This is an expose on that program known asProject: Scattermitosis. While ultimately scrapped, this expose shows how close the government was to implementing cloning in the 60’s.Scratchy Photo- A mystery drama show where every week a scratchy photo is found in the mailbox of the New York City Police Department . After being ignored a few weeks it is discovered that in each of the pictures was someone who was murdered shortly after the photos were received at the police department. Can the detectives figure out who is in the picture each week in time to save them? Who is leaving the photos?Seasons- This a time lapse photography film that shows how the Earth revolves in different places. Cameras were set up around the world for ten years and filmed constantly and this film is all ten films sped up in ten minute chunks accompanied by a score by Phillip Glass. The film will mean different things to different people. Some might say its about urban sprawl, or global warming or simply a rip off of the quasti series of films.Securitron- Not an actual tv show but an infomercial. This one about a device that makes sure you cannot lose the data on your pc, phone or any device that has stored memory. It also prevents Identity Theft, all in a cute little robot form.Sheep- “A show for Sheep about Sheep by Sheep”. I really don’t understand it but it seems to do well in rural areas. Last weeks topic was supposedly :”Baah! to Beee!: Helpful Tips to Understanding our Foreign Friends” but when I tuned in its just a group of sheep baahing at each other.Sheri- this is a cooking show starring “Sheri, the chef that cooks with Sherry”.From Pork Tenderloin to delicious Asian dishes to special marinades Sheri teaches you how to make simple yet tasty dishes. Sheri is often known to close the show with her signature like “ This has been Sheri, the chef that likes to cook with Sherry inviting you to make something good and Share it with others”Shortfuse- This is a sitcom about the leader of an anger management group and how he tries to rehabilitate them with very little results. While it has a regular ensemble cast there will be guest stars coming in and out of the group as the show progresses. One of the ensemble’s recurring characters is not really angry at all but has Tourette’s and cursed at the judge during a sentencing. He is very calm and has no anger issues but cannot convince anyone he just has Tourette’s due to his constant swearing. (nbc)Singrin- Singrin is the tough by nails cop you don’t ever want to meet. Some cops don’t want to ever draw their gun, but Singrin loves to (and will) shoot any perp he legally can. Most say he goes too far. Others say hes a loose cannon who gets results. Singrin doesn’t care. He just smiles as he shoots the scum off the hard streets of Chicago. (fx)
