Space~ two places at once

I was there...

with you...

in space

you were...

looking at the world below

and

while you were there..

I was here..on earth

laying on the beach

somewhere in Liguria

I slept near the sea

on the rocks

listening to the waves

looking at the stars

and I said to you "hello"

in my mind

looking at the stars.

looking at you looking at  "us"....

I said " hello" ...

and I imagined myself to be

where you could have been...

and I asked

"is there anybody out there"..

and the thought echoed into eternity....

"is there anybody out... out.... out ...

there... there ...there ...there..."

Does space feel empty and cold like many people imagine it to feel like?

or does it feel full of feeling and emotion? I wonder...what it feels like to be in space...
