There was a great change that occurred with a rapid pace. Soon all these people were replaced with automatons. Plant life had been replaced with grinding and whirring things that spun faster as you would near. Their purpose remains unknown to me. The people go about their daily routines. Not dissimilar from how they did before. Only now they are more efficient in doing it. They are better at being human than us. They do not fight, they do not argue, they share, and are unconcerned for the most part for their own well being in arduous situations. Somehow I have survived the cleansing. I truly fear for my safety. They have not yet seemed to have noticed. I do not act much differently from them. I follow strict patterns and organize accordingly. They are collaborators and so am I. We get along. They may recognize me for what I am, but if they do they might not care. Seeing how rigid I am and knowing that I am the last, they won't have to take any action. All they have to do is wait. I suppose I am waiting too. I am waiting. Yet nothing happens.

pash and dash
Pash,the above mentioned definition for a passionate kiss, a snog or a french kiss. Coupled with dash, (as in the word run) it is a term used for a moment where one left the scene soon after the pash and did not take things further 'in a physical sense' beyond the pash. A highly useful term to define an evening 'on the pull' in two words.

Minuteman Geyser Shoshone Geyser Basin...
Minuteman is the most reliable geyser in Shoshone Basin.It erupts every few minutes for a few hours, takes a two hour break (your break may vary depending on what its's doing when you're there) and then starts up again.
Taken in 1980, made to look like 1880.
For the past 6 years I ran a pretty large (and well-loved) recording studio here in Toronto called Chemical Sound. Sadly, we are closing our doors on March 1st. The reasons for closing are long and complicated, but it's too bad we never got to host Radiohead. We did get to record the Black Keys, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Tokyo Police Club, Born Ruffians and Everything is Made in China (among many others).

The terror is very strong, so strong that I can feel it though I am inside my house. I peek out the window and all I can see is the snowy waste like a well off parasite. There are men who were walking home maybe to see their families. They are now frozen solid in their solipsisms. They are aware, upon closer inspection you can see their eyes swiveling back and forth. They are frozen in their moments. Like still frame pictures on my lawn. I see only one that looks content. He is lying in the snow completely naked. Next to him are discarded bits of technology and he is smiling.
