I realized today ,that before to see radiohead at Paris and Nîmes i must waiting 2 month and i think it's too long.Fortunately, I have the lucky to see Portishead the 5th may in Paris, this concert is waiting since very long time like their album.I wait the 24 th april to buy the CD of the new portishead but i already hear some strange songs.The wait has been long but i don't know if Portishead will stay at the first place in my list of favorite music. I hope so.I hope that Portishead do, like Radiohead, all new songs are better than the other.Better meaning always correspond at my spirit when it is published. I crown up with the time.

I forced myself to calm down before writing the first blog post. I was too excited, as usual, after discovering this site and adding you as friends. Still, I am perfectly happy when we enter the madness of the rhmb.******I still like Ed, nothing has changed on that. Luckily my ticket for the St. Louis concert is on his side, so I'll be more than happy that night.******My other lately obessions are Lhasa de Sela- her voice is so sexy. i don't have anything to say today but, being at work, it feels like i should bum around on the internet.proxy servers are great, aren't they? i can piss about on w-a-s-t-e- as much as i like and still get paid. nice.the continuing upside of this is that, once at home and back on my own time, i have no excuse not to get on with studying, writing etc. after eight hours on the web (while getting paid, did i mention that?), doing some work actually feels like a better option. good times.it also means i can bother you, my lovely w-a-s-t-e friends, during the day! happy days...please note - i can't accept friend requests, or read private messages at work, as the it department have disabled the java settings on my machine. this led to the following conversation;me- can you give me back permission to alter my settings and internet options?them - what for?me - (noticing my manager listening in) eh, nothing. never mind...anyway, green tea. eh?for the benefit of those of you who didn't know me before (probably all of you, my lovely w-a-s-t-ers, but that doesn't mean you are not valued), i used to be addicted to coffee. when i wrote the book, i was on up to twenty (count 'em!) cups of filter coffee a day. and about twenty minutes sleep, it must be said.nowadays, despite working at the death star, i'm down to one cup, first thing in the morning. how, you may ask, has this been achieved (and why, more importantly, has there never been a tv movie-of-the-week about this triumph)? the answer, is my comically high ingestion of green and fruit tea. typing this is probably the longest i've gone without one, whichreminds me...wait there, won't be long...ahhhh! kettle's back on. okinawan gunpowder tree (with jasmine, please) is like low-grade speed, to me (if without the weight loss). i can't give it up. i won't. if they ever try to ban it, i'll be down the shops with an automatic weapon of some kind. nobody move! this is the green tea liberation front!now, if you'll excuse me, the kettle's just boiled.if you feel that this has been a waste of your time (and i wouldn't blame you), don't complain, dearest w-a-s-t-erels, just make a point of reading my nonsense when you're at work! you'll get paid for it (like me, i think i may have mentioned this).i love you all, feel that love,steve x.

I feel like I don't even have time to think anymore. I spend over an hour commuting to work and then another hour commuting back home. But I am lucky I have a job in this economy. I am really happy today! I found an apartment in Irvine to move into and today I found out my credit was good enough and I'll be moving in next Friday! Yay! I hate packing, but this time I'm really excited about moving because the new apartment is really nice and it's brand new. Best of all, the apartment complex is next to a shopping centre that has a Trader Joe's, and that's heaven for me! The apatment is a 615 sq. ft. studio with hardwood-type flooring ("Pergo", in other words, but definitely an improvement over carpets), granite countertops. It's just two rooms. The bedroom isn't even a room but it's closed off from the living area by sliding doors, so since I will be moving in with my son it'll be like having my own room. Best of all each apartment has an actual one-car garage! That means I won't be living amongst an ocean of boxes anymore! I decided to keep my beautiful wood/black marble Thomasville "Bogart" bar.
It's such a beautiful piece of furniture that I've had people offering to buy it on the spot... so I'm not selling it just yet.I also lucked out with W.A.S.T.E. and got four pit tickets to the Santa Barbara Bowl, and two P1 tickets to the Monday Hollywood Bowl concert. I managed to get one Q1 ticket for the Sunday Hollywood Bowl concert but unless I can find another seat nearby I will probably sell it. I don't want to go by myself. Today I reserved a room at a hostel in Santa Barbara for two nights. I didn't really want to carry all my belongings to the concert or do without taking a shower, but we will probably spend the night queuing. I plan on doing the same thing at the Hollywood Bowl on Monday. I don't think I can afford a hotel for that night. I don't even know how we'll manage to get back to Irvine that night.Other than that my life has just been work-work-work lately, which is why I am now able to move into something newer and better. The place where I live right now has been described as a ghetto and I'm not one to disagree.

I’m about to wash up and head to the record store. Why? Today is Record Store Day. If you are reading this somewhere, go out to the local store and get something. Let me know what you got.Yesterday was an interesting day. Through my job I can get into the Phila Museum of Art for free. (I know…Sundays are free) Yesterday one of my co-workers mentioned out loud that she was going. There’s one in every office. She asked the woman who sits across from me if she and her husband do “corny stuff like that.” (!?!?) I had to laugh.I hate the awkward handshake. That or when you aren’t sure if you should shake or not- you reach out and if the recipient doesn’t offer their hand you either rub the back of your head, feeling like a idiot.I was riding my bike home from from work and I saw the strangest thing. (To me at least.) Two middle aged white men driving around in a white LeBaron convertible, blasting Dmx “Party Up (Up in here)” with the top down. Scary.Alright, I’m heading out.
