Franco Battiato, probably my favourite Italian singer/composer died earlier this morning. The news has just been announced, although rumours about his health had circulated for the last couple of years. Eclectic music artist, painter, spiritual practitioner, student of Gurdjeff's teachings, of Sufi teachings, Tibetan buddhist teachings, his music was often accompanied with philosophical messages and meditations regarding the human condition.
Saddens me deeply that Franco has departed. My your journey to another human rebirth be free of obstacles and swift. You will be missed by so many.
