you can do it!

happy  2012, I finished a paralegal degree, quit smoking and learned to live in the woods

with my thoughts and ill feelings, now I believe i CAN do anything.

I believe you can get through anything with just yourself but I have to say thanks

to my cat she really was supportive of my efforts when everyone else seem to act

as if they should be committed to the mental ward.

never underestimate the power of the individual!

Yay, I hope to see Radiohead in 2012 and maybe get a part time job for atleast a month.

Some of my acquaintences believe that 2012 brings the end of humanity with the belief in the Mayan calendar forecasting disaster.  It is amazing what people think, I hope to open up my ears and hear other peoples thoughts and feelings .

FORTY-NINE

making movies with my friends, skateboarding up and down the block, cycling on country roads and through small towns, playing role-playing games, being a member of the local swim team, jumping off the third deck, playing lazer tag, student council, making popcorn for intermissions, touring plays to libraries, dominating Europe through Diplomacy, participating in YMCA Soccer and Flag Football, playing with cars, creating elaborate scenarios with action figures, going to country music jamborees, camping in Colorado, bit by a cat behind the pepsi machine, snowball fights, kick the can, lighting matches in the closet, pouting over tennis shoes, wearing generra, performing at renaissance festivals, collecting comic books, basketball in the neighbor’s driveway, buying the yearly xmas ornament, driving too fast through small towns, exploring the parks of wilderness outside of town, losing a shoe forever in the creek behind the house, frequenting video game parlors, going to the zoo, watching soaps while out sick from school, going home for lunch, graduating from cub scouts to boy scouts, nachos on christmas eve, making mix tapes, hanging out on Saturdays at the indie record store, starting a political party at school, nature walks, having a crush, making up my own players and teams on Playmaker Football, putting puzzles together on new year’s day, building a group of superheroes with legos,  creating a comic book with said group of superheroes, building houses of cards on the living room floor, mowing the lawn, shoveling the sidewalk, reading books in the sun room, making out by the lake, acid in the woods, dreaming under the stars and mountains while foi na cruz plays on the walkman, imagining myself as luke skywalker, indiana jones, and marty mcfly, birthdays in Memorial Stadium, opus in his tent, patting my lap and having Shadow come running

Justice Goes 'On N' On' With New EP [MUSIC]

11010913087?profile=original

Justice is gearing up for the new release of their remix EP titled 'On N' On' which includes remixes of tracks from 'Audio, Video, Disco'. Two stunning remixes are already up on grabs. Check them out below.

First up is Brodinski's remix of EP title track, 'On N' On'. And although the name suggests something fancy, this is no Beethoven's 5th..It will get you moving for sure. Full of electronics and pounding drums, Brodinski proves he may just be the Mozart of the future.

Next up is the legendary Tiga remixing 'Canon.' And sadly he likes to talk through much of the song, but try to ignore it. A new vocal free version will be available soon. Hey, at least he doesnt go on and on and on and on....

Chill Music For A Raw Tongue Pt. II [MUSIC]

11010915075?profile=original

No Sunday Night Chill playlist would be complete at only a handful of songs. The zen experience continues with tracks from Jimpster, Lusine & General Midi, and more. Ambient music is key when recharging the mind.

San Fran's artist and musician Tycho, and UK-based Youandewan also round out the mix for this week with some magnificant ambient beats.

Chill Music For A Raw Tongue PT. I [MUSIC]

11010914096?profile=original

Every Sunday, I like to make it a point to releax, unwind and get my head back together before beginning the week anew. To do that, often it helps to have a soundtrack--one that amplifies the liquidity the soul, allowing it to bathe in the audioverse. Doubt that's a real word, but oh well.

In preparation for the ridiculous weekend ahead of us, I thought it would be wise to zen out ahead of time considering this particular Sunday will likely bleed into Monday..and probably Tuesday [if you were smart enough to call out of work beforehand]. Compiled for your listening pleasure are some chill vibes from my playlist, Sunday Night Chill.

Enjoy.

Dave Sitek has just created another audio masterpiece for all those weekend dancehall-ravers out there. We start with the track 'No Light, No Light' off her new album 'Ceremonials' and from there we add skittering snyths and drums, some deep bass and then of course highlight Florence's epic vocal range with an echoing backdrop.

You wont fint this DL anywhere else--believe me I've tried---but now you when someone asks where this remix came from, you can finally use the line: 'I have my ways..." Don't forget to grab the bonus remix by The xx below.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who was cheated out of seeing

radiohead at the roseland ballroom in September.

I really hope they plan on coming here again... new jersey in particular.

But seeing their tour dates that's probably not likely to happen ANY time soon. Let's pray on it folks...

The XX Welcomes The Night With Synkro [MUSIC]

11010916072?profile=original

English indie rockers The xx are getting a seriously ambient makeover with the help of fellow Brit and dubsteb artist Synkro. The pairing couldn't have turned out better. The echoing synths, drum & bass elements compliment rather than conflict. There is certainly a liquid feel to this track, aptly titled 'Night Time'. As when you listen to it, you'll wish it was...Could this day be any longer??

You've no doubt heard other bands take a flattering stab at The xx, including The Antlers who covered the song 'VCR' in their own more elctronic sorta way.
