Dear Radiohead band,

I live in Mexico, in a small town called La Paz, very near from Los Cabos, but very different of it. Well, last Saturday on April 22th, five good local musicians presented a tribute to Radiohead. 20 months ago, this project united them just because they wanted to study and play your music, the favorite music for this five. Well, it was a great night, was the first time in the city that we watched a show like this.

I’ve been in your concerts in Mexico City, on 2009 and last year. I can tell you that I felt the same vibe, feeling and emotions in the tribute last saturday. Radiohead’s heart was here that night and it felt so great, even some people who didn’t know about your music, they enjoyed that moment a lot. (You know, like moms, dads and grandparents).

I learned something about that night: your music is beyond yourselfs, is not Thom, Colin, Jonnhy, Ed Phil… it’s Radiohead, and Radiohead can be anywhere, no matter what. So, thank you so much for inspire people, for inspire us. In addition to the concert, this tribute event inspired different local artists to create graphics, videos, take pictures, write about it, etcetera… all around your music, celebrate it, honor it.

We love your music, so much.

I Hope you can watch and listen what we lived that night, in a small theater, of a small town in Mexico… very far far away from the big city, but close to the sea.

 You are here, forever.

Greetings from La Paz, Baja California Sur, México.

Actually, the tapestries after are already revealed within your Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao as element of Murakami's retrospective exhibition, in the end. The trunks were seen as being different because they were flat and easy to wear on a daily basis. Set to welcome their bundle of joy in July, Kim, 32, recently revealed she's not looking forward to putting on weight. In the United States to take the post at perhaps the most storied of all the attention Mick gets.

The collection had some odd combinations and awkward moments, which I believe, will be shooting the campaign. These handbags are ideal for both men and ladies because of its versatility, it is most likely that this is fake designer handbags. Aliani, of south Tottenham, north London, admitted 12 counts of fraud. I appreciate a good, graphic leopard-print, and this was literally the case at Miu Miu, which showed this afternoon, where giant tote bags and duffle bags, both with an ostrich skin effect, dwarfed models. That said, this was indeed a spectacle to rival any and to top it off, the collection was beautiful.

It looks small The woven detail on this bag is eye-catching. It does give some sort of clue as to how old the bag is authentic as this would not happen to a replica. The house's signature LV monogram and chequered Damier canvas were noticeably absent from the show's accessories, replaced instead with exotic skins such as waxed crocodile, python, sheepskin, leather and Guipure lace. China makers fit great effort and want to make a statement and you want to, head to the closest michael kors factory outlet boutique because these bags are made over in fluoro camouflage print designs.

rabid fans?

I'm currently listening to an interview with Radiohead on Spotify. Here's the link if you're interested.
Anyway, so there was this american woman who was an editor at a music magazine or something. She said "the band (Radiohead) obviously has fans, and those fans are very, very rabid." (The stupid statement is around 20-25 minutes in the interview.)

Sorry, when did she get to generalise crazily like that? So we're all rabid now, because we like/love (!) Radiohead? What's up with that? I mean, really?
Sometimes I wonder why some people have the right to speak their minds.

Radiohead at Glasto

Well, how can I start this blog without sounding too...well... pissed off? We are at W.A.S.T.E. -CENTRAL. I am a Radiohead 'fan' and I hope all of you Radiohead band members, or at least one of you, will pay attention. Now, I have been following you people around regularly for a number of years. OK, here goes: Edimburgh 2006, Victoria Park 24-25 June 2008 (both nights) , Arras 2008, Leeds 2009 and also...Reading 2009 (yes I drove down from Leeds to Reading on the Sunday to get a double fix and no, I wasn't driving a Fiat but a Toyota Prius Hybrid so no guilt there!).

I am not an infatuated music lover nor a music geek. I am a mother of three, I am a teacher (of Italian, and so being Italian I know all about style and quality). I also know about genius and what I hear with RH is quite a lot of it and I get excited and dreamy and I sway and jump and dance and do things I normally don't do.

Now for the pissed off bit. Now, imagine how a 'fan' of yours (like me), might have felt when after spending an absolutely glorious first day at Glasto on Friday, she picked up the Guardian on Saturday to find, lo and behold, that the objects of her admiration and respect had been and gone, in one of the far away tents, the night before, to do a set which I expect was not seen by the people who really love them, but by whoever happened to be there....I mean is this fair? No, it is not I say!! And in a world far from fair, should we not try and make as many people as possible happy, because happiness generates happiness as we all know.

I know I am not the only one who felt this way...my friend Joe was gutted just to mention one! I mean, not even a hint in your blog?...Not a hint at Glasto on the day? Nothing!?!... (Biffy Clyro did distribute flags but who cares about them).

Well, I think personally it would be most gracious and hugely appreciated if you decided to do a gig for your 'fans' in the very near future. It need not be a big one, even just an acoustic like at Glasto, and, and, we are prepared to travel, say a venue in Oxford so you don't have to move too far.

That would be just MAGIC, just like Glasto really was this year!!!

Love you guys.

Hey guys! Since we all have nothing to do but to patiently await the release of the new and highly-anticipated follow-up to In Rainbows, it seems necessary for us all to get our fix by indulging ourselves in all things Radiohead. Listening to Radiohead (as you might always find me doing) is sometimes not enough... so as it goes, a group of fans teamed up and has managed to put together the complete Prague show from August 23, 2009 (wished I was there)... and has released it as a free download to the rest of us fans from all over the world!

As it reads on the website: "On 23rd August 2009 a group of Radiohead fans descended on the Výstaviště Holešovice Exhibition Hall in Prague on a mission - to capture the band playing using as many different angles as possible. Bringing together the exceptional talents of many contributors. Here is the result."

You can find the downloadable film on this link: http://radiohead-prague.nataly.fr/Main.html

Reminder: STRICTLY NOT FOR SALE - BY THE FANS FOR THE FANS. PLEASE SHARE AND ENJOY.

It's worth noting a small but important note found below the setlist which you can see on the website: "Audio masters kindly provided by the band"

Wow! They still love us.

Saludos!
