JOSUEDRIC

TANIT
About her drawings,Tanit said:
I am not artist.
I cannot draw everything that I have inside my head, and all of these things I can see and can imagine, when I listen to music. trying, but obtained only a meager similarity, and I throw it in the dustbin.
The only thing that I sometimes get - it is to catch the facial expression and emotions of people which I want to draw.
I am drawing faces some people, who help me feel myself alive. (sometimes they are imaginary, sometimes not!)
I never learned to draw and probably I do a lot of mistakes, for which the teacher would have to tear my hands out))))
I just drawing a portrait of the way I can see and perceive person. This is not to much of my merit, I think =)
often it is only my emotion, an attempt to unravel the mystery, or even a kind of meditation.
maybe it's just my way of saying "thank you" to people whom I immensely respect and love for their work and attitudes to life.
so how I can

TRAVIS BRAUN
About his art, Travis Braun said:
All of the images were inspired by TKOL and all of the lyrics were taken from the album or found in "The Universal Sigh" (the newspaper). I scanned and used a bunch of the artwork found in the newspaper as well as the other extra artwork included with the newspaper version of the album... notice the trees in the background as well as Jonny's shirt and of course the newspaper itself which is held by Mr. Magpie (in the bottom left corner) I also hand drew a bunch more artwork taken from The Universal Sigh... you will notice all the strange little creatures all over. The grass in the bottom left corner is patterned after the lightning bolt-ish artwork on the cover of Supercollider/The Butcher. You will also notice 3 white mice in the tree towards the top of the image, they are each doing a different dance move inspired by Thom's Lotus Flower dance. I tried to capture the feeling of the album with it's many depths & layers as well as portray a mystically beautiful but slightly eerie scene; one which might only exist in Radiohead land... where we all long to be.

this photo was probably taken in 2010, Thom and Flea, not recently.

feel this tender cord
wrapped so loosely
a caress behind her burning reach
plunged into the waving mirage
feel it there
It’s there
It’s touching lightly all the time
as you go
wanting
glowing from a thousand fires
held by our breathing angels
lean into it
when you feel nothing beneath

go grab some headphones!
Feist has been showing us more of her edgy side lately--what with the release of her much darker LP 'Metals' and now it seems with a truly wacky rendition of November Rain by Guns N' Roses'. Complete with a Slash look-a-like and workout on a piñata.
In a recent show in Mexico City, Feist just couldn't say goodbye without an encore featuring the aforementioned rock ballad. In an interesting turn of events, she decided to go to town on a festive candy-filled party toy during the faux-Slash guitar solo. Whoever said girls cant get grungy on stage?

maybe Rihanna should dial it back a little bit...no one wants to see her vomit, again.
