Track 2
"someday"
The Purpose of the Moon
Staring at the moon
I see you
looking away from me
But when i feel
from deep inside
it causes me to believe.
*Whisper
Its just a fantasy
don't waste your time
your only regret
you'll lose your mind
*louder
i don't care
i don't mind
I'm no slave to the time
Whats a journey supposed to be
If just a memory
to make believe whats not real
the only thing left to feel..
If i go away..
How long will it take
to find the purpose upon this face
*whisper
its just a phase
its just a phase
it will all end someday
someday...

First of all- those paintings are not mine nor made by me! ...but since I have such a poor memory for names, I can`t name the authors. Recently I visited an art musum(KUMU) to specificly check out two things- how have they used colors and how they painted the sea. I was actually very surprised how many "illogical colors" they used- like green or light purple in the face:) I mean, I have done a face with yellow, green and pink marker but all my mother said was- "Oh.. why is that so colorful? In reality it ain`t, now is it?" And another thing- my painting teacher claimed that NOWHERE can be used PURE WHITE, it`s always the lightest color of the object, but there I could see that white was very often used and it seemed pretty pure to me. I really don`t know what to beleave anymore.. I guess there are classical paintings where one really can`t see pure white, like that one
..but to be honest thats not realy my style( atleast not now). And I´m just not capable doing something this precisely jet, secondly I wouldn`t have the time, and thirdly it`s just more fun to "throw the colors around". But I find the process of making a painting as realistic as possible very interesting, photorealism I beleave that is called. Takes a lot of consentration. Never been a fan of syrrealism and abstract to be honest..and I hate the way some teachers nowadays kindof softly force me into doing an abstract pice. I mean, art nowadays seems to be all about shocking. Like telephones in the bath or a naked man skiing on the pond...with a torch. Sorry but I honestly don`t care anymore. And the deeply profound philosophical or existential problems behind this shocking, eye-caching thing are left totally unnoticed. Instead the esthetics of ugly arise to question. Call me conservative. But to justify myself a bit I quote Hando Runnel- "all the truly beautiful things ARE good".
/that`s it for today, luckily I`ve been getting sleepy too by now:DJEI:)/
