Mother always told we to consume all your veggies, and this might be one more superior cause. In 1 study of over 1,800 elderly men and women, scientists found which those that drank fruit or vegetable juice at smallest three instances a week had a 75% less risk of developing Alzheimer's than those who drank lower than 1 glass per week. Why?

Omega 4000 Juicer is considered a thick duty juicer. Many come with a ten year warranty. The only drawback to utilizing this brand would be it doesn"t have a pulp ejector feature meaning you will have to frequently clean the strainer of pulp.

My juicer machine review concludes which the masticating juicer machines are the greatest machines for wellness fanatics. They let you to juices vegetables, leafy greens plus berries including cranberries and blueberries. Many centrifugal machines cannot do the above mentioned. Next, we need to recognize which all masticating juicers are not built equal. Some masticating juicers employ a heat task to grind the vegetables and fruit which is not advantageous. Since the heat may destroy the enzymes inside the juice. You desire a masticating juicer which uses a cold task to result in the juices.

On the other hand, a masticating juicer utilizes either a twin or single auger to "chew" by the veggies and fruits. The engine runs at a slower speed, producing less friction plus less heat. The pulp from the provide is essentially squeezed, with the juice exiting the juicer by way of a spigot. The leftover pulp is pushed clear of the juicer to avoid clogging. This masticating process is a lot more thorough than which of the centrifugal juicers. The yield within the same amount of fruits or veggies is much high with a masticating juicer. The augers chew by the materials plus mobile walls of the make for maximum efficiency.

Sure, there are other cheaper juicers available. But the question is - how several months, precisely, usually these cheap juicers remain? Are you purchasing to employ a juicer for six months or ten years? It's as much as you to decide.

It's advertised that the Omega 8005 is the only single-gear masticating juicer available found on the market today. I've utilized this day by day for over week, plus could state that I agree. In comparison with many additional masticating juicers accessible about the market in the modern, this machine has wonderful looks. Many individuals like to put their juicers away after utilize, however with all the Omega 8005; you'll be completely satisfied to go away it about show in the kitchen.

radiohead @ Coachella 2012 - 2nd weekend

Made a playlist yesterday for my iPod using the set list from Saturday night.  Let's see how many times I listen to this sucker.  I'm already to 5, 3 times yesterday, twice today and the sun hasn't even gone down yet.
Hey Zeus!  I've never heard the band sound as good as they did.  I might never have heard A band sound as good as they did.  Besides living up to the expectations of getting blown away from the light & video show, the music is so powerful live, its one of those moments that a convert or long time fans usually just leave as indescribable.    I was a packt sardine about 50 yards from the stage. It was the best loud it can be.  So rich and clear and definitely knocking on heavens door if you choose to be buried in a grave.  There were moments throughout the weekend when there were two or three popular powerful rock bands playing at the same time pumped through arena sized stage amplification, where I thought mother earth is gonna fight back.  Coachella does take place over a convergence of major geographical fault lines.  Channeling all this human primitive soul and the power of music and pounding it into the native American grounds sounds like a recipe for the karma police to show up, no?

Being 6'1", I had a clear view of the band when I wasn't rocking myself.  There are no visual images or themes on the multitude of stationary and mobile hi-definition screens, other than the band members and digitally animated electronic graphics being used as the piercing light source, setting the drama and emotion into action with the full dynamic range in rainbow color pallette, in brightness, in size and in speed of motion and intensity.  You will get lost or hypnotized if you don't have the opportunity to focus on the stage and see that there's an actual live band pulling off what your senses are telling you seems impossible.  They've made the penultimate pc visualizer.  Footnote, see George Orwell 1984.

I've seen Radiohead live five times now, spanning from The Bends until now. I got on board just a little late. Besides helping various bands make their own music, I was busy listening to Crazy Horse's Ragged Glory, Nirvana and Pearl Jam and on a first impression, it sounded like the kid in radiohead is kind of a skinny punk that I could take in a fight.  Not that I'm all that tough, but I like my rock stars, guys and dolls, to be able to kick my ass.  Then I saw Thom Yorke dancing behind the microphone and I figured I needed to give this new Pablo Honey record another shot.  My point or observation here is, I've noticed now people are used to his moves.  This past weekend instead of saying he dances crazy, folk just point out that he can't stop dancing.

Highlight you ask?   13 songs in, the band drops out and the entire audience sings along and over and over with Thom during Karma Police.  "For a minute, I lost myself."

Seems its clear to the world that they have become the greatest active rock and roll band judging from the mix of people all in love with the music, the conscious and unconscious swaying and dancing is incredible.  Mind you, Coachella is still in Southern California where I'm betting 40% of the crowd is made up of the jaded Los Angelinos and radiohead even works on them(me).  And I say the world, just from my gringo Coachella experience.  Between sets, walking the grounds if you listen closely, you will hear every language spoken round the globe. Just one visual example of the radiohead packed house, think two strangers before the show, one a dude that looks like he'd be comfortable at a rodeo after he rode the bull, standing next to or better yet, dancing with one of Jimmy Cliff's backup singers like two long time congregation members in a pew.  Everybody came to see radiohead and talked about it all the time all weekend.

I did.

KID A - "10"

Happy Birthday to one of my favorite Radiohead albums of all-time. It's' hard to believe the most anticipated album in Radiohead's career is officially ten-years old today. I still remember the day I listened to it for the first time. The opening piano-riff to Everything In It's Right Place, Thom's looped-voice exclaming "kid-a...kid-a.." followed by Thom's incredible vocals when singing "Everthing... Everything..." Yes, this could as well be the soundtrack to the 21st century. The new millennium. The age of the unknown. For all of us lucky enough to be alive during the turn of the millennium it really is something remarkable on it's own. Radiohead's opening track speaks volumes without saying much. Sometimes songs don't need to be understood in order to connect with you. Everything In It's Right Place connected with me because of it's full of raw-emotion. I could hear Thom's voice inside my head. We love to believe everything IS in it's right place, but this song is something of a reminder of that and not just a statement. The title track that follows Kid A opens with a what sounds like a music-box. Thom's voice is distorted and one can barely understand what he is saying. Again I find myself lost in this sea of the unknown. Where will you lead us? Are we there yet? Can we see the shore up ahead? One can lose themselves while listening to this song. I feel as if I am lifted from the ground and taken over a desolated land of nothingness. Perhaps the album cover congers up the imagery in my head. The cold, lonely place where intelligent life once roamed the earth. We might spot a polar bear on occasion but there really is nothing here to see anymore. The National Anthem is a call to arms. The song gives me a feeling of resistance. Resistance from the way things are. Not necessarily a resistance one thinks about but more of a collective resistance in regards to everything we as humans are currently doing. Perhaps a spiritual one. This coming long after we've almost given up hope. We will follow that distorted bass-riff wherever it leads us. "Everyone around here... is holding on". The horns emphasize the urgency in the song. The climax is where we need to be. Lost among the many sounds of horns coming from all directions. How To Dissappear Completely the fourth track on Kid A is one of the saddest songs in the album. It feels like someone standing in a crowd full of people but feeling completely alone. It feels like someone stuck in a cubicle for eight hours a day. If feels like someone standing on the edge of a bridge somewhere... Contemplating. "This isn't happening"... It feels like someone thinking of a loved one on a rainy day. The song connects with those of us who for some reason find ourselves in places we never imagined we would. Not feeling completely fulfilled with how things turned out in our lives. The following song is Treefingers. This is the bridge. The elevator. The spaceship. Treefingers will transport us all to where we need to go. During the trip we will slightly forget where we were but will accept where we will be. No questions asked. The ambient sounds coming into our ears will soothe and comfort us until we get there. And now: Optimistic. We have arrived. "If you try the best you can... the best you can is good enough" The song sees the world through a microscope. The big picture. Human kind. Evolution. What have we done to get here? Is this good enough? Has history shown us to be of good moral character? Are we monsters? Is Religion good? Are we in a prison? Have we made any progress? Will we end up the same as the dinosaurs? Is there anything we need to be doing in order to avoid human extinction? As long as we are optimistic, everything will be ok. In Limbo is the jungle. The jungle in our minds. We are "lost at sea, don't bother me" "We are living in a fantasy world" Unlike Optimistic, In Limbo leads us to believe we are ALREADY there. We made it. This is the point where we can't make a distinction between the genius and the insane. Perhaps they are one in the same. Next we have Idioteque. "Who's In bunker?" brings imagery of being in-hiding. In exile. Maybe from the rest of the world. From reality? From the scary things. "This is really happening" Yes, the nightmare we were afraid would one day come is actually here. "Take the money and run" the markets have collapsed. Capitalism went the way of the Roman empire. We made it this far, now we need to have "women and children first". The Titanic is going down. This world we find ourselves in has taken us to this point and now we must deal with the consequences. "Here I'm allowed, everything all of the time" Perhaps referring to the money being taken by those so-called "institutions" we all feel are overseeing it on a daily basis. Sadly, nobody is hitting the panic-button this time around. Morning Bell is the place we are trapped-in. The place in our minds we'd rather not be in. We should be happy, but we're not. We have it all. The house. The wife/husband. The white-picket fence. The kids. Or maybe we should "cut the kids in half", not literally but metaphorically by stating that maybe that will make us happier. "Light another candle". Many people light candles in remembrance of their lost loved ones. Others simply light candles when their power is out. We are in the dark. We can't see where we are going. The suburbs. The homeless shelter. The apartment complex. We can all relate being in a place and not being able to see where we will go from there. The Album ends with Motion Picture Soundtrack. The song itself is the perfect ending to such an amazing album. It brings up feelings of being lonely. Broken-hearted. "I think you're crazy.... maybe" The relationship between two lovers. The feeling gets old. We survived. Maybe not just the end of a relationship between two lovers but that between us all... The point where we all part ways. The end of human existence. Meeting people is easy. Saying goodbye on the other hand.... "I will see you in the next life".

Thanks for taking the time to read this. It reads like a random rant with lots of grammar errors because well, it probably is just that. But my honest opinion it is. Images, thoughts and feelings that flow through my head when I listen to this incredible album. I would like to know what Kid A means to you too.

I was listening to this album while I wrote this. You should listen to it today.

Saludos!

Radiohead with Grizzly Bear - 8/12/08Susquehanna Bank Center, Camden, NJSound Check - 4:30 PM:I arrived in Camden 2 + hours before the gates of the venue were scheduled to open. While there were lots of friendly-looking folks tailgating in the parking lot, I decided to head over to the Susquehanna Bank Center, figuring that I’d find a bathroom and a drink of water after my 2 hour drive. As I approached the gates, I could hear Thom’s perfect, pure voice singing “Pull me out of the air crash, pull me out of the lake, for I’m your superhero, we are standing on the edge…” I probably don’t have to tell you what a thrill it was at the moment to hear them playing, seemingly, just for me. I couldn’t see anything, but if I put my face through the bars of the gate and closed my eyes, it really didn’t matter. The SOUND was perfect. It was a rare moment of really truly just listening to a group of amazing musicians-there was no crowd, no cheers, no one talking or singing along in the background-it was just them and me (well ok, 2 or 3 other people were there listening too). There were 2 teenage boys who couldn’t stop smiling—they were in complete awe—and eventually more of a crowd formed and the spell was broken. But for those several minutes of listening quietly to the sound check, it was much harder to think of them as gods- no matter how I would feel later- we were just human beings a few hundred feet away from each other that were momentarily connected.[Besides ‘Lucky,’ they also played ‘I Might Be Wrong,’ ‘The Gloaming,’ and ‘Go Slowly.’]The gates opened at 6:30 on the dot. The line stretched down the street. There were groups of teenagers, college kids, parents with children, loners (like me), thirty and forty somethings, even a few white hairs. I only had 2 people in line in front of me, so was one of the first people to enter the venue. Despite being slightly dehydrated and still needing to find a bathroom, I skipped all of the concession stands and walked passed the restrooms. Lawn seating is of course first come first serve, and I was not going to take a chance of getting a bad spot, especially since every spot is a bad spot if you’re as short as me. Luckily, I got a perfect spot, and the closest spot on the lawn. The only thing separating me from Thom were those yuppies in the expensive seats. I plopped my blanket down right against the railing at the bottom of the lawn, slightly right of center, which ensured an unobstructed view. Even if the entire seated crowd stood, or stood on their seats (which they did), I’d be able to see. And thank god – once the show started, the entire lawn stood, so even if I was on the incline, there’s no way I would’ve seen anything. It looked really unbelievable though, a complete sea of people, with no sign of grass anywhere, and 25,000 devoted fans. A nice couple seated to my right offered to watch my blanket while I went for a walk, and after I did the same for them, we talked for much of the night. They weren’t nearly as surprised as I was to learn that we were all from Baltimore (!), and they filled me in on some local bands (Fools and Horses—has anyone heard of them?).It’s probably a good time to take issue with the recent comments from Liam Gallagher, of the highly overrated British band Oasis, who called Radiohead fans “boring and ugly.” I’d also like to dispute the stereotype that Radiohead fans are predominantly white, middle class, and morose. It was an amazing, beautiful, diverse crowd. My Baltimorean friends were originally from Philly—he looked kind of like Flea—but the audience covered the spectrum. To my left were two Russian supermodel types, and behind me were 2 young Asian students, a brother and sister. It was their first Radiohead show. There were young hipsters wearing brightly colored ties smoking thin cigars and wearing sunglasses after the sun went down, same-sex couples holding hands, the tattooed and pierced, the dreadlocked, and lots of intense looking young men. There were people talking, laughing, reading, dancing, smokin’ up. One of the security guards confiscated a joint from someone next to me, but suspiciously pocketed it. I don’t think he was going to turn it in to his supervisor. Definitely not a boring, ugly, or easy to pigeonhole crowd. The opening band, the Brooklyn-based Grizzly Bear, played a pleasing set, but like most of the crowd, I was anxious for Radiohead. Prior to their last song, the lead singer thanked Radiohead and thanked the audience for listening to them “while waiting to be blown away.” I think that was the general consensus, Grizzly Bear were a good band, but we were all waiting to have our minds blown. And we did.Shortly before 9 PM, Radiohead took the stage. Hearing and seeing Radiohead last night I felt what it must have been like to see Pink Floyd before Roger Waters left. While Thom is definitely the epicenter, the confluence of these 5 talented men is what’s made Radiohead work. While they’ve done some great things apart (Thom’s “Eraser,” Jonny’s composing), as a band they are preternatural. They opened with ’15 Step,’ the “In Rainbows” opener, to an awesome LED “light show”— energy efficient ‘lighting’ (think Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker, but really cool)—and Thom’s wacky dancing, a cross between running in place and religious possession. I’m sorry, but this man is the definition of sexy—all wiry, lazy-eyed 5’5 of him, the author of ‘Fake Plastic Trees,’ with a falsetto that rivals Beth Gibbons’ of Portishead. For the majority of the night, he was playing guitar or playing piano (which was covered with the Tibetan flag), so had less opportunity to flail, although he was conducting the audience like a deranged maestro during ‘Idioteque.’ Jonny arrived wearing a dark hoodie covering his head which made him look strangely elf-like (I kept picturing Liv Tyler in Lord of the Rings), especially with his lanky body, head down, and hair covering his face. He plays like he’s possessed. He eventually took the hoodie off, looking more human, albeit pretty intense. At first I thought Ed was wearing a suit, looking all dapper and poised and tall. His backing vocals were stellar, especially on Weird Fishes. Colin looked like Colin—happy and wearing a white tee, while it was pretty hard to see Phil, except for the top of his bald head. They were all pretty quiet between songs, with Thom’s occasional “thank yous” and “cheers.” More than that was unnecessary. They played an amazing set, including 2 encores, lasting over 2 hours. They played every song from “In Rainbows” as well as ’Go Slowly’ from disc 2, which Thom dedicated to “everybody up in the lawn.” But while “In Rainbows” dominated the setlist, they played songs from all of their albums (if you count ‘Morning Bell’ for “Amnesiac”). ‘The National Anthem’ was a killer, followed by ‘Videotape’ which made my eyes well up. They even did ‘Street Spirit’ to end the first encore--the songs from “The Bends” were pleasantly unexpected (they also did ‘Just,’ ‘The Bends,’ & ‘Planet Telex’). During ‘No Surprises’ it was pretty chill inducing to hear 25,000 people sing “bring down the government, they don’t speak for us” and then cheer wildly. There were many other highlights of the night: Thom and Jonny playing ‘Faust Arp’ alone, hearing ‘Lucky’ at sound check and then again during the show—‘Lucky!’, thinking the show was over and then starting the second encore with a brilliant ‘Reckoner.’ The show ended just as it began—with pure theatrics. They played “Everything in Its Right Place”—there’s something right with the world when thousands of people are singing “yesterday I woke up sucking a lemon”—and ended with each band member leaving the stage while the others continued the song. Thom left first, then Jonny, and so on, with the LED lights finally converging to spell “Everything in Its Right Place.”It’s difficult for me to describe the experience, just as it’s difficult for me to separate them as a band and individual musicians, from their politics and activism, their totally ‘green tour’ (the LED lights, no plastic, having their equipment shipped, etc), their giving away their album for free on the internet, their other musical accomplishments. When you enter the venue and are immediately handed information about human trafficking, you expect to have a different kind of evening. When Radiohead hired consultants to determine how to reduce their carbon footprint on this tour, they got some flack for being high-brow do-gooders, but were also called hypocrites (Damon Albarn from Blur and Gorillaz criticized them for touring at all). So what does this have to do with music? Well, a lot, I think. Their persona as a band is partly why they have such a devoted following. Let’s face it, if you’re an arch conservative, you probably don’t love Radiohead, despite the fact that they are probably the most talented and groundbreaking band in my lifetime. By definition they do attract a different kind of fan. How else would a band who hasn’t had a “hit” song played on the radio since the early 1990s thrive as one of the world’s most successful and beloved bands? They’ve accomplished this with virtually no mainstream radio play since ‘Creep’ in the early 1990s. Personally I think that’s what’s given them the creative freedom to do an album like ‘Kid A’ – they’ve never been part of the mainstream, so they’ve been able to continue pushing the boundaries musically without any negative repercussions. On the contrary, they are loved because they are fucking amazing musically, and therefore haven’t been accountable to your typical radio listening top 40 audience. Sure, they’re multimillionaires now, but releasing ‘In Rainbows’ on the internet under a “pay what you want” model was a risk, just like everything else they do.A band like Radiohead is also very freeing for a fan. Sure, everyone has their favorite songs, but since they have no “hits” the people who go to hear them live aren’t waiting for ‘Creep’ (which they do not play anymore, hell they don’t even play ‘High and Dry,’ ‘Paranoid Android’ or ‘Karma Police’). Their fans are there because they know their 7 albums and many of the bootlegs and b-sides. Radiohead can draw on their extensive musical catalogue (as they did last night) and put on an awesome show—there are no limitations.Strangely, the whole experience felt pretty intimate. Being there with 25,000 people, standing on a small ledge of concrete against a metal railing, I experienced something I haven’t in a long time. I was completely focused on the present. I didn’t think about work, I didn’t think about anyone else, I didn’t even think about myself. I just listened, saw, felt. Happiest I’ve been. 28 August 2008: Radiohead @ Santa Barbara Bowl

Nothing should have been able to top Night 2 at the Hollywood Bowl. Indeed, I even thought (fleetingly) about whether I really wanted to go to the Santa Barbara show, considering how bloody amazing HB Night 2 was, and considering I was going up by myself, to wait in line for the pit -- all things that were more than a wee bit disconcerting. However, it didn't take much to remind me of what I was going to see, and I went anticipating a really phenomenal show.Walking to where the pit line had already formed, I was thinking to myself that I must be mad. However, upon hopping into line, and meeting the girl who joined the line a few minutes after me, I decided perhaps I wasn't mad, after all. The girl in line after me had also come by herself, and we were quickly joined by a pair of Ateasers, who had come down from Washington state and who totally made the wait a party. Eventually, said Ateaser was telling me stories of how he had attended the Dublin shows and had actually met Jonny and Thom in a small pub in suburban Dublin, and I was positively green with envy. Eventually, our little group of 3 turned into an Ateaser crew (plus one randomly awesome MTer) of 6, and it was lovely spending the hours waiting with them. Sometime very soon after my arrival, a certain someone else also arrived -- Jonny's bus pulled into the venue, and I'm quite sure it was him -- he was silhouetted by the tinted window, but I'd know that hair anywhere... it was definitely Jonny Prettyhairs. When they finally let us hike that blasted hill to get into the pit, I quickly headed for the side between Thom and Jonny, and ended up being in the third row, along with half of my Ateaser crew (the other half went for Ed's side). We were happily positioned, right in front of Jonny, and with a good view of Thom... until the tall guy in front of me migrated directly into my line of sight. I thought all was lost until a lovely brother/sister duo and the tall guy scrunched up and made some room for me, so that I could stand next to her in the second row, with her brother behind us. That made all the difference in the world, really -- it meant I had a perfect view of Jonny, and a good window to watching Thom. It was brilliant, and it was really indicative of the kind of people I met this whole night -- everyone was super friendly, everyone was taking care of each other, telling stories, making friends -- it was really unlike anything I've done, and I'm very glad I had this experience.I put in my earplugs for Liars' set, and gave my spare set to the sister -- we needed them! It's one thing for Radiohead to make my ears ring (which they actually didn't, because their sound is so well mixed), but I wasn't going to waste my hearing on Liars. So I didn't do, and happily, their set was over quickly. I watched as the Radiohead crew set up their gear, realising for the first time just how close I would be to the guys -- ridiculously close. Not quite cognisant of what was in store for me, I anxiously awaited the set -- my last concert of this tour. Here was our set:ReckonerOptimisticThere There15 StepAll I NeedNudeTalk Show HostWeird Fishes/ArpeggiThe GloamingMorning BellNational AnthemFaust ARPNo SurprisesJigsaw Falling Into PlaceThe BendsKarma PoliceBodysnatchers----Cymbal RushHouse of CardsParanoid AndroidGo SlowlyEverything In Its Right Place----VideotapeLuckyIdiotequeIf you're thinking it looks suspiciously close to the HB Night 2 setlist, you are right -- it's nearly identical, with only 3 songs swapped (sadly, for a loss on Pyramid Song, Planet Telex, and Fake Plastic Trees). That was a little bit of a let down, I confess -- since it was the last show of the tour and since they were webcasting it, I really thought we were going to get some rare songs, or at least a few that hadn't been played in awhile. I was secretly hoping for Where I End and You Begin, You And Whose Army?, and I Might Be Wrong, but I was wrong on all 3 counts. Either way, I know how greedy it sounds for me to whinge about the setlist, considering how great a show they did put on, so I suppose that saves something for me to look forward to on the next tour.To counter the whinging, I will indulge my fangirl tendencies and let you know that I had a brilliant view of Jonny, Thom, and even Phil, who was remarkably close to us. As a result of being so close, I got a smile from Phil during a break in his drumming -- he looked at me, I gave a little wave, and he smiled. It was adorable. Also, I nearly passed out in the pit the first time Jonny's eyes wandered down to the crowd and then directly to mine -- I'm pretty sure I looked like I'd seen a ghost, and I really hope my jaw didn't drop (or he likely thinks me an idiot!), but he looked right through me -- not just once, but twice! It was brilliant and mindboggling. And finally, since Thom loves checking out the crowd, I managed to catch his eye thrice -- once, right as I was snapping a pic, for which I got a wonky smile (which shows in my snap), once after rejoicing at getting Go Slowly (because I was the only one rejoicing), and once just because -- I happened to catch his eye and got a little giggle -- I think he saw my little dance/freakout. And now for something completely serious...I was literally 15 feet away from the band, and was particularly watching Jonny play his ondes martenot on songs like The National Anthem, which was ridiculously cool. There's something really magical about actually watching how they create the music they do, especially Jonny -- all of the sampling (radioJonny is amazing!), and the techniques he uses to coax the soundscape from his guitar (and ondes, the glockenspiel, the rhodes piano, and even a proper piano) are remarkable. It was really phenomenal, being close enough to see just how talented he is. Indeed, how talented they all are -- Radiohead consistently sound amazing live. It's astonishing, really, just how amazing they sound live, every night -- they are always spot on, and that is extremely difficult to do, especially whilst touring! And Thom -- he manages perfect, extremely difficult vocals, whilst dancing around the stage like an epileptic -- it's mindboggling! I don't know how they manage it, but we are all so lucky that they do -- every show they put on is worthy of them, and that is really something. Now that my last show of the tour is over, I'm quite gobsmacked -- I managed to do this tour perfectly, starting the first night with a dear friend in the nosebleeds to enjoy the lights, moving to a boxseat for the setlist of a lifetime for the second show, and being in the pit for the last show of the tour. Really, I couldn't have done that better, and I consider myself immensely lucky that I had the chance to see them three times. After years of waiting, it was decidedly worth all of it -- trite and cliche though it may sound, Radiohead mean so much more to me than just another band, and seeing them live on this tour really cemented my admiration and immense respect for them.So to all the people I met at the Santa Barbara show, thank you for making it such a wonderful experience. To the people with whom I spent Night 2 in the HB box, thank you for sharing that moment of Radiohead history with me -- we are truly lucky people. To my dear (and Lucky!) friend Vanvan, thank you for sharing a very special night with me in the nosebleeds. To Radiohead, thank you for giving me three distinctly amazing and indelible experiences to remember from this tour -- I can't seem to find the words to say what I mean, but suffice it to say I am even more in awe now than I ever was... and I can't wait for the next tour.

west palm and tampa

there is so much to be said for the two shows in florida...but i have like 2 min before we start our drive up to atlanta...the first show of the tour was incredible...i have second row center seats and i was just in it and blown away...the band seemed really on edge and nervous, which is what i expected from a first show...but that vulnerability made the show that much stronger...how to dissapear is one of my favorite songs of theirs, so it was only right they play it on the first night of the tour. we got to tampa early and got to hear soundcheck...they played all i need 4 times...which i guess paid off because it sounded so perfect...tampa show was insane...so many people...they changed 5 songs from the night before and played the bends, which is one of my favorites from that record...it was great to see old friends and friends i have met at the shows...we also helped out a man that works for TBD records when his car wouldn't start...he told us some awesome news...the band has been praciticing a brand new song before soundcheck for the last two shows, and it should be ready by texas or maybe the august shows...and that they will play it then hopefully...god i can not wait! ok we gotta go hit the road....see you there!m

atlanta

so we drove from tampa to atl on the day off and what was a 6 hour drive felt like 15...took forever and was so draining. We made it to atl and to my friend luke's place. Hung out with him and his dog and just rested since we knew we had a GA show the next day that would exhaust us. Day of show we get to venue and are asked to wait at this gate way outside the venue and that if you have a public transportation pass (marta) you get in an hour early. So i had to go drive to get the pass at the bus station, luckily it was close by. Waiting all day was not that bad since the weather was pretty nice and cool...it wasn't until later that it rained and was cold.We had a pretty good time waiting in line, met lotts of nice people including some of the hardcore fans. When it was time to get inside we walked calmly and then we were all put into lines at the gate. We could hear all of soundcheck, which had probably just started around 4:30. They soundchecked maybe 10 songs including talk show host which they hadn't played in some time. Once we were allowed into the venue it was mass hysteria. No one knew where to go or where to run to. The security was just unprepared for us and had no idea where we needed to be. All the while, the band is still soundchecking. Eventually wrist bands were given out and in we went, still with lotts of confusion. We made it front and center and the show was so great. It felt like the band had way more energy that the previous nights in florida, almost like they needed to have this close proximity to the fans in order to really rock out. There were some problems with the LED screens right when it was time for them to start...not sure how they fixed it but the screens seemed to work fine the rest of the night. After the show i saw some good friends, one of whom flew out for this show. She was not disappointed! See you in charlotte!-m
