One year to the day the photographer Sebastian Edge made a number of wet collodion photographs of the band Radiohead, using his own hand built camera equipment.
Sebastian is currently working, three years into a growing body of work with the woods he grew up in, in Kent, England. when the project with the band collided.
This edition of the portrait of Thom, Ed, Collin, Jonny and Phil. Was for the press material for the The King of Limbs album, released February 14th 2011.
The hand made print by Sebastian, is being released through the North London Darkroom. where photographers make their own prints, to archival standards.
This print sale will help the North London Darkroom in its future endeavours with photographers to make photographs.

Sebastian Edge photographed Radiohead in the woods near their studio on the release day of TKOL. He is planning to sell a limited edition leather bound print of the picture he took that day. Money raised from the sales of the ltd print will go to fund the North London Darkroom.
The print is a contact print from the original wet plate negative, shot of the band Radiohead on the 14th February 2011. Using the finest quality Fiber based papers, and toned in a bath of Selenium.to increase the archival nature of the print.
It comes bound in a North London Darkroom, black hand made archival print folio, bearing the north London Darkroom stamp on the front and great care has been taken to ensure that each print will last for years, and reflect the love of the material and photograph. The folder passes museum standard photo activity tests to ensure the longevity of the print it houses

There was a great change that occurred with a rapid pace. Soon all these people were replaced with automatons. Plant life had been replaced with grinding and whirring things that spun faster as you would near. Their purpose remains unknown to me. The people go about their daily routines. Not dissimilar from how they did before. Only now they are more efficient in doing it. They are better at being human than us. They do not fight, they do not argue, they share, and are unconcerned for the most part for their own well being in arduous situations. Somehow I have survived the cleansing. I truly fear for my safety. They have not yet seemed to have noticed. I do not act much differently from them. I follow strict patterns and organize accordingly. They are collaborators and so am I. We get along. They may recognize me for what I am, but if they do they might not care. Seeing how rigid I am and knowing that I am the last, they won't have to take any action. All they have to do is wait. I suppose I am waiting too. I am waiting. Yet nothing happens.

pash and dash
Pash,the above mentioned definition for a passionate kiss, a snog or a french kiss. Coupled with dash, (as in the word run) it is a term used for a moment where one left the scene soon after the pash and did not take things further 'in a physical sense' beyond the pash. A highly useful term to define an evening 'on the pull' in two words.
