RADIOHEAD TICKETS ARE PRE-SOLD TO RESELLERS

When I heard that Radiohead would be performing two shows at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles (and no where else in the U.S.A. except New York City) I was determined to buy 2 tickets and support the Band I Love so dearly.

I was shocked to discover that TICKETMASTER was already offering tickets to the shows BEFORE the posted On-Sale Date of 03-18-16 at 10:00 am PDT. Ticketmaster was in fact offering tickets as "Resale Tickets on Partner Site". Even though the Posted Cost of the tickets was $75.00 each, the tickets on the "Partner Site" ranged from approx. $900 - $4,000 EACH as Resale.

In other words, Ticketmaster was "Scalping" the tickets BEFORE they EVER went "On-Sale" to the General Public.

On 03-18-16 at 10:00 am, when I attempted to "Click" on the Tickets for Sale on the W.A.S.T.E. Ticket site, the link went to a webpage that said "Forbidden 504" (or something like that).

The only way to correctly link to the websites offering the actual tickets was through the Shrine Box Office Web site or AXS. When I tried to proceed I was shunted into a "Waiting Room" where I was supposed to wait for my chance to purchase tickets. This "Waiting Room" site continually CRASHED over and over again (probably due to the traffic). I tried re-entering the waiting room over and over again until I was informed that the show(s) were SOLD-OUT.

There are still available tickets through the Ticketmaster "Partner" Re-seller if you don't mind paying more than 10X the face value and have NONE of that money going to the Band...

Here in America we are getting used to how the Rich get preferential treatment over everyone else... I just NEVER thought that Radiohead would allow themselves to be a part of it!

So, Come-on Guys! You still have 3 nights in-between the 4th and the 8th. Add at least 2 more shows for the FANS, and make ALL of the tickets available on a First-Come, First-Served basis (just like the old days).

This is the second time in a row that I have been Shut-Out of buying Radiohead Concert Tickets. Last time they came to Southern California I was at least able to get to the page to request 2 tickets, only to be told that there were none available. Once again, this is attempting to get tickets online right when they go on sale (my computer internet connection speed is T-2 level). How about a W.A.S.T.E. Fan-club Pre-sale with Password?

Does Radiohead care what has happened to their fans who want to support them?

Nell’epoca dove tante cose sembrano andate perse, e dove molti valori sembrano pian piano scomparsi, si trova spazio e l’ispirazione di far nascere una nuova canzone, con la quale si vuole comunicare i tanti disagi che il mondo attuale si appresta a vivere, le tante problematiche che spesso attanagliano l’essere umano, sempre preso da se stesso, e molto spesso distratto da tutte le cose che il mondo e la vita offrono. E' cosi che nasce “Crisi Esistenziale” il nuovo brano che dà il via al nuovo album di Savio De Martino, cantautore dalle mille risorse artistiche, un brano scritto dallo stesso Cantautore, sia per la parte letteraria, che per la parte musicale, un brano voluto, un testo ricercato, una canzone necessaria, una sorta di protesta, un modo di gridare e poter dire, BASTA !!! In the fragmented world of materialism, consumerism and individualism, every perception is distorted. Beauty is a construct which has dissolved into a instinctual drive due to the constant bombardment by the world of advertising, Hollywood and all of its poisonous tentacles which stretch deep inside every sanctuary we try and keep pure.

Every face we see, we unconsciously scan for imperfections, our genetic code does a millisecond analysis and concludes if this member is fitting to have offspring with. But we are romantic, we try and read faces for their expressions, emotions, we cling to our stereotypical deductions to put people into molds, from which we conclude who is trustworthy and who can pose a threat. But we dig deeper.

The eyes are the window to the soul, but it doesn't stop at the eyes. The entire face gives us an impression and (like it or not) we give the cute, baby-like, round faces more leverage, bigger benefit of the doubt, whilst the rougher, sharper faces immediately provoke the animal inside to go on edge, to watch out and be prepared. To be careful. Every imperfection throws us off, and the initial impression is very hard to disregard, it takes a lot of time, conversation and insight to delete (or at least diminish) the initial feeling we got off someone.

The person in the image above is not someone who would physically impress us. This is a scared man, the face is not symmetrical, with somewhat strange imperfections spreading all over; peculiar facial hair and hairstyle might intrigue us, but by all standards, this is someone who we would probably avoid, maybe even be threatened by at first (we're talking about the first, millisecond impression).

But we don't know this mans' story! We don't know why he has this soldier-like expression, why he is so upright, uptight, mean-looking even. This is a conclusion we come up with without any real basis, the basis is completely instinctual, without any rational interaction. Emotionally we might even perceive that this is not a happy man. We could even conclude further, from the instincts onward, that the soldier-like expression stretches from a particular event in his past, he might have been abused, had a difficult childhood, a very unhappy love affair and a million other scenarios which we conjure up from our own experiences or from the Hollywood monster which pushes onto us its visions of perfection and where human fault comes from.

Yet, the rational part will always tell us; we just don't know. There is no Sherlock Holmes on this planet, there's a reason why this person is fictional. Although I'm sure some come close with the depth of their deductions, most of us know very little about the art of expression. We usually think we do, but truly we are wrong most of the time. But we always remember the times our first impressions were right about someone (which speaks volumes about us, not about the other person or our deduction skills).

So I think it's good to keep in mind, that first impressions tell a lot more about ourselves than anyone else. We must always keep in mind the possibility that our perception is wrong, that it just might be focused on the wrong things.

Behind what we perceive as an abused, bruised, melancholic, unhappy, imperfect face, there might lay a Lion in disguise...

Sleep

I do not sleep very much. There are reasons for this that I understand and reasons I don't. When I can't sleep I sometimes come to this site. I find it soothing. it supports my theory that there is a universal unconscious, and although I am rarely there, a dream world that we share. We might not meet each other there, but I suspect it's one big landscape, planet, cosmos. And there are feelings in dreams we never experience when we are awake. Although one night i saw something on the street that was terrifying and foretold of death, and that was like a feeling from a dream. Unencumbered by the editor in my brain. Pure pulse of terror. And I will never know what happened to the people I saw on that precipice of murder. I was simply driving by at the darkest moment of a life, I think.

I never dream of Radiohead. I don't know if I want to. It's strange enough that they exist in my imagination separately from their own being. As do all of you.

Sweet dreams. Here's the best lullaby, and one of the most beautiful parts? "One, two three..."

Today was Mom's Day- and as a real radiohead's fan my mom deserved something special. I bought her a top and personalized it for her with some drawings I made on it with this...permanent special marker for clothes or so....And there is obviously A moon upon a stick, and Thom...Climbing up...not the walls this time!...Or may be a somersault...as you like, as you like...
