The ticketing system is badly and sadly broken.
Am I the only one upset with the state of the ticketing system? Can't be, right?
On-sale for US dates began at 10am this morning. Of course, tickets were difficult to secure. Expected...no worries. BUT, how the fuck do thousands of tickets land on secondary markets sites (such as Stubhub) in under 30 minutes? That is not collective of all dates, folks. That is an example of a single show. I'm really confused by this occurence. How is it possible that so many tickets have landed in the hands of those not interested in attending? We are all victims of a very ugly, greedy, corrupt system (general societal perspective and event ticketing market).
Fuck scalpers. Fuck the system. I'm sure this can be done better.
Apologies to those who purchased tickets then promptly recalled a conflicting prior engagement. And, congrats to those who secured seats at face value. We both know you're in for a treat :)
Oh, and if it wasn't made clear....scalpers, go fuck yourself.
