go deep into music ... you'll find education

..."You have to be around people that are interested in having strange times.

I've always felt like: Why be one thing, which is what the rest of the world wants you to be, when you can be so many different things.

You always have to assume that people are generally bad by nature.

My personality has indeed multiple sides. This counts for each human basically, but not everybody dares to admit it by far. Your male side, your feminine side, even your immature childish side, all take part in the perfection of your personality. As a human it makes you more creative, colorful, and complete.

I don't think we should ever regret anything we do. I think we have to accept the consequences and you learn from your mistakes, and that's how you grow as a person.

I fear being like everyone I hate, I fear failure, I fear losing control. I love balancing between chaos and control with everything I do. I always have a fear of going one way or another, getting lost in something, or losing everything to get lost in. And I fear being a completely acceptable sheep in society.

I do try and push people to re-evaluate what they believe in and question why they believe in those things.

Don't be afraid to say what's on your mind, and if it pisses someone off that's too bad. If you make everybody happy, you're an idiot.

Mankind is too busy playing with computers and watching TV to tap into their own power. Why fuck with virtual reality when you can have super-reality in your own life?"...

We're on God's side (this painting is to express the unthinking majority)

Do I have to do everything for you? (the title speaks for itself)

I've got my arm around no one (this goes for the lone spirits)

P.S.  This is some piece of material I've collected from M. Manson some years ago.

It takes Isolation, Concentration, Escape from Reality to feel the real power of music.

But hey, don't go too deep or you'll completely lose it :PP

My thoughts on The King of Limbs

I don't even really know what W.A.S.T.E. Central is for, but this seems like the only appropriate venue to express my feelings about the new album.

It took me until yesterday to realize that this album is brilliant. I instantly loved every preceding album. Especially In Rainbows. In fact, I loved In Rainbows before it was released, as I downloaded bootleg recordings of the live shows leading up to its release. By the time In Rainbows was available, I knew almost every song by heart.

The King of Limbs is a different kind of album. Duh. This is not news to any Radiohead fan; each album they release is different from the last. But there was something about the TKoL that I couldn't quite grasp. Something about it that was at once incredibly attractive and yet somewhat repulsive to me. I listened to it several times through the first week it was released. Since then, I hadn't gone back to it until yesterday. I think I finally know why, but I'm not sure I'll be able to articulate it:

The King of Limbs is mesmerizing. It doesn't just demand full attention, it takes it. Sometimes I feel like my mind is swimming in all the sounds. You know that saying "You can't see the forest for the trees"? Well, this album is like that for me. My focus goes from sound to sound to sound and I just get so dazzled by each one that I can hardly hear the piece as a whole. At first I think that bothered me on a subconscious level, but now I love it. That swimming, mesmerized feeling is amazing.

Radiohead always takes me somewhere else. Somewhere outside of my own head. This time they take me inside my own head, but they come inside too.

Zeke

Zeke

Hi, they call me Zeke, I was born in a small tribe just above the equator
I'm a 6th generation, 17 year old Mayan & yes, I met the invader
but he will come later, to begin, I must acknowledge & say amen to the divine & the bad
Our gods & our devils, our law & our past, the flawless & trash...but they said I made them mad.
They blame me that we haven't had good crop, since the day I was alive
And now every adult said it's my fault, that most of my friends have gone away and died
But why? - I searched & prayed for an answer up above, I realize life gets rough
But why do I get God's disgust? We gave Gods, gold, animals, but seemed nothing was enough.
Then they asked for God's Advice, he showed them "Sacrifice", now I wait, worthless in prison
I put myself here. It's clear what I'm worth.. because now my curse is their religion

Then he came. Strange. A change in the atmosphere, the rain hadn't come this year
But a thunderstorm emerged, this wonder soon diverged into the calming drear.
He wore black, but in his eyes survived the stars, alive even though he's far
From his home, just like me I thought..different; but strange sometimes is discard
He spoke to the people, "Make light of your evils" "For every barrier we believe"
"You must now see! What stands between you and me, becomes everything we cannot achieve!!"
He took every enemy, every war, & placed them underneath his father sun
He said "Look at these... Enemies?, these are people! but he became bothersome
According to the king, who was distorting everything, in favor of currency
His gain was fame! A legacy to maintain, his heart slowly growing colder with urgency

"A sham this man!" said the King, "His plan is damned - he'll disrupt everything!"
Then publicly denounced the man, "You must understand! Here the devil sings!"
They banished him, "Your not welcome" dismantled him - of mankind's pride
But nothing damaged him, as they tried, to strike their fear into his stride
He sat in his jail next to mine, reflected in time, where my eyes
Now lifeless without shine, I told him my crime, he reclined, then sighed
Then he picked up a rock, brushed off the dust and held it to illuminate it in shade
This is my gift, he said "A rock will create mountains, but it will never climb it's creation
"As much as you love, you hate, as much as you do, you don't..
As much as you will, you try, a rock can skip but unlike you, it will never float!"
"Be who you are, don't worry to chance" & the next day they came with my life to take
To the God's above, but then the mysterious man said.. "Wait"...
"I am the devil you speak of, If you spare the boy, I'll bring you, your rain"
They let me go and killed him, left up to the Gods.. I guess he took the blame
Because for the next 4 decades our plants grew to fruition, I know now at last
Humanity is only how much and how far we're willing to grow from our past

Anguish

Anguish

it is my unseen lover
it caresses my dreams
and weaves beauteous nightmares
my closest friend, it walks with me
our hands entwined in better days
and cradles me tight against its breast as I falter
though feared by so many,
it is comforting in its consistency,
in its dependability
always there, it never disappoints
close enough to feel its cold breath envelope me,
it feels like home as it moves like fog through the cracks in my soul
And my heart can almost feel whole in its bitter embrace

Meet Michele Bachmann

For those of you that are unaware or don't pay attention to American politics, let me introduce you to Presidential candidate Michele Bachmann.

michele-bachmann-817-cropped-proto-custom_2.jpg

Her political platform is anti-women's choice, anti-gay, anti-porn, anti-immigrant, anti-science, and pro-slavery. Don't laugh.

For the last several years, she has proved time and time again that she is nothing more than a religious zealot whose brain is a raging electrical storm of divine visions and paranoid delusions. She believes that the Chinese are plotting to replace the dollar bill, that light bulbs are killing our dogs and cats, and that God personally chose her to become both an IRS attorney who would spend years hounding taxpayers and a raging anti-tax Tea Party crusader against big government.

...and all of that would have been fine if she wasn't so popular. The thought that this woman could me to next president of the United States should frighten you. It certainly frightens me.

Love

I love her.Doesn't mean i have to possess her.I'll guard her from a distance.
I can't offer her much.
Lack of confidence kicked me into abyss.
I think my secrets will never be revealed.

No matter how she do,i still love her.

A quick note on the bass

Slightly confused by all the people claiming that TKOL is Colin's album ... have these people not been listening? Personally, since Airbag I have been very aware of Colin's brilliant bass-playing. Further, when you watch them live you see that the man is ALWAYS on the beat, even when he's not playing his instrument. As Thom et al pursue their chilly detachment, Colin remains the throbbing, banging heart of Radiohead.

Cheers,

Spiralise.
