“As you might know, Atoms For Peace are touring, and playing the Roundhouse in London’s salubrious district of Camden at the end of July. Above is a design for a poster for the shows, although I can’t decide on which colour other than black I’m actually going to use.It’ll undoubtedly be a storming set of gigs, and I’m planning a sort of appendix to this main event…There are two underground stations nearby, and the closest is Chalk Farm. Just opposite the station, and just a stone’s throw north of the Roundhouse will be a second ‘warm action’. These ‘actions’ are an esoteric idea designed to make people feel good.You may have been a part of the first action, which was a little print giveaway at an Atoms DJ set at Ovalspace in Bethnal Green last February. This second action is very different.The work to bring this action about is in its early stages, so I can’t say much at the moment for fear of jinxing it. But it’ll be a bit like a shop, a bit like a strange North London drawing room, and a bit like a working print studio.It’ll be open on the days of the shows, and I’ll post updates about it on my stupid blog and my equally stupid twitter account as they become relevant. At the moment though, it’s all cloaked in a veil of secrecy and a pashmina of slight panic…”
