Y todo por culpa de cuatro despistadas fans chilenas. Tal como lee.Ocurrió que tras el concierto que dio la banda inglesa en Brasil, el grupo se fue a un restaurant de Ipanema. Allí mientras celebraban su sólida presentación, los músicos del multiventas "OK Computer" hicieron amistad con unas groupies chilenas que estaban de vacaciones en el país de la lambada.Las connacionales también estuvieron en el concierto de Radiohead. Sin embargo, no reconocieron que estaban frente a uno de los rockeros más influyentes de los últimos 20 años… y tomándose unas copas. Para peor, emitieron juicios acerca del recital de Radiohead. Y su encuentro con las estrellas indie lo remataron ofreciéndoles vender entradas para los conciertos que Radiohead va a dar este jueves y viernes en Santiago.Muertos de la risa, el vocalista de la banda, Thom Yorke, y el guitarrista, Ed O’Brien, contaron la anécdota en una entrevista que emitió anoche TVN."Había cuatro chicas chilenas de vacaciones. Yo estaba comiendo con Collin (Greenwood) y no sabían que éramos de la banda. Y nos preguntaban si habíamos ido a ver el concierto de Radiohead y les dijimos que sí, jajajá", se reía O'Brien.Éste siguió su relato: "Nos dijeron que estaban apenadas porque tenían tickets, pero los tenían que vender porque estaba de vacaciones y nos ofrecieron esos boletos. Ellas decían que los fanáticos chilenos eran muy locos".Mientras lo escuchaba, Yorke tampoco podía contener las carcajadas, un gesto alegre de su parte que ni siquiera se ha visto en los famosos videos de su grupo.Más serio, el vocalista que se inició en la música después de ver un concierto televisado del grupo Queen, se mostró optimista de su visita a Chile pero siempre escueto. Cuando le pidieron que le mandara un mensaje a los fans que iba a encontrar en Santiago, sólo dijo: “Hello”.Más informado respecto de nuestro país se mostró el guitarrista de "Karma Police". "Sabemos que tuvieron un horrible dictador, que trató de esconderse en nuestro país (Inglaterra)", dijo al periodista Andrés Vial. "Buen vino, los Andes, por supuesto. Es un país extraordinario, muy largo y delgado".El cantante y fanático de la electrónica, se explayó más cuando le preguntaron acerca del futuro de la venta de discos, después de que la banda vendiera su álbum "In Rainbows" por Internet y a un precio libre."La vieja industria de la música va a tener que cambiar o algo así, pero no sé cómo", dijo Yorke.

Asi es gente, el sueño de muchos se esta haciendo realidad, hoy integrantes de nuestra Comunidad estuvieron a metros de Radiohead en su arribo al Aeropuerto internacional Arturo Merino Benitez.Como estaba pronosticado, entre las 12:30 y las 13:00pm de hoy, el avion privado que traia a Radiohead desde Buenos Aires hizo parada en el Aeropuerto internacional, y tras una angustiante espera, integrantes de nuestra comunidad puedieron conseguir saludos y hasta una sonrisa de Thom Yorke, gracias a un gentil contacto que los mantuvo informados a cada momento la posicion de la banda.

Ed en perfecto español le habló al público acerca del Día de la Memoria y la banda dedicó una versión inspirada de Como desaparecer completamente. Thom parecía emocionado !! И открылась во мне обывательская сущность: вместо того, чтобы гордо пройти мимо этих сайтов и разговоров, я тоже поперлась по ссылкам, разглядывать бегущего, медитирующего, купающегося и прочего Тома.))Сначала было неудобно, даже неловко как-то, а потом ничего, прошло:)).Раньше удивлялась, почему люди так остро реагируют на желтую прессу, читают, обсуждают, кто, где, как и почему. Кому интересна чужая личная жизнь, пусть даже и известного человека. Теперь вот сама попалась, хехе, хихи.А Йорк оказался похож на немножко постаревшего хоббита.
