<미움받았다>보다 <미움받고 있었(는데 나는 모르고 있었)다> 쪽이 더 괴롭다. 덕택에 지금 매우 싱숭생숭함.세상 일들을 내 기준으로, 내 잣대로 보는 것은 여전해서 '두 번 다시 보고 싶지 않다'는 분 말씀에 뭐라 대꾸하고 싶은 느낌도, 그래야 할 필요도 느끼지 못한다. 나같으면 내가 두 번 다시 보고 싶지 않아 하는 사람이라면 내 버럭글에 답글 남기는 것조차 싫을 것 같거든. 문제는 그분 말고 그분과 나 주위로 이래저래 얽혀 있는 다른 인간관계들인데, 여차하면 그분들과도 모두 멀어질 각오를 해야 할 듯도 하고 그렇다. 무엇 때문에 내가 싫으셨는지는 몰라도 좀더 일찍 말씀해 주셨다면 안 되었을까. 3년 반씩이나 참으셨다면 그만큼 내가 꾸준히 거슬렸다는 건데, 지적해 줄 필요도 못 느낄 만큼 내가 쓰레기같아서 그러셨었는지......여기까지 와서 숨어서 이런 이야기하는 내가, 나도 참 싫다. 이것밖에 안되니까 그렇게 미움 살 만도 하지.하지만 어디에라도 좀 이야기하고 싶었어.

Dinner at Piperade. At the next table over sat the former director of the San Francisco Opera. Only my dad recognized him. Halfway through dinner, Da (former) Mayor came in for a sip at the bar. In his trademark hat.
Everyone recognized him.I finally learned a little bit more about Bud — longtime friend of my parents, former pitcher for my dad's team, former firefighter, and current filer of the family tax returns. Son of French abattoir men on his father's side, the Southern Pyrénées on his mother's side, grew up trilingual in a house that played host to dozens of San Francisco's French émigrés for Sunday suppers every week. Came home after school to his grandmother boiling whole calves' heads — eyes, teeth, tongues, and all — in pots on the stove. “Good soup tonight!” I was always scared of Bud as a little girl because he was a little loud, more than a little jokey, and smelled like cigarettes, but you know, we both love beignets more than should be legal, and ate them with reckless abandon tonight.I dressed up for dinner in my dress and heels and shaved legs and eyeliner and everything. Which means that I spent a lot of the night hoping and imagining that somebody — at least one person in the entire restaurant — looked, and noticed, and thought that I was maybe a little bit pretty.Sigh.

So, I'm a bit upset because "Jigsaw falling into place" is not on the list and that is my favorite In Rainbows song. I'm pretty sure this this the set list they will follow for the USA tour.No "Kid A", no "Let down", no "National Anthem", no "Plastic trees", no "High and dry", no many, many other great songs. hello... i will keep this little space as a blog. i've got to say not much is happening around here. reading crime and punishment. some freud texts (really interesting stuff i'd say). and been recently listening lots of portishead, sonic youth and mansun... i haven't noticed the way my skills for playing radiohead on the guitar almost fade.... been playing only sonic youth and mansun lately... i even forgot some chords from ok computer and hail to the thief.... ugh..... no school as i start uni sometime in august. to pick a medicine or psychology career. me... talk to you later. love pablo lanskyx

On a wim I drove over to The RBC Center to see if I could pick up a ticket for $20 bucks last night.I got there,avoided the $10 parking fee by parking out in the empty Carter Finley lot,walked up and started looking for a ticket.Scalpers were selling for half face value so I knew I was going to get in.Within about 15 minutes a couple who did not want to dump their tickets to scalpers sold me there $125plus ticket for $20!!!Got in,had a beer in the Ledge at the opposite of the stage and watched the first couple songs.They opened with "You Really Got Me" and continued to run thru all their hits.The stage set up was minimal w/ a giant S shaped cat walk that started behind the stage above the drum kit and gently down to stage level before going out into the crowd and turning back towards the stage.They also had a giant video screeen that stretched from one end of the satge to the other.David was in his usual Broadway self.....he was ripped.Eddie looked really healthy minus the close ups to his hands which made him look old.(It may have been just me)Wolfgang was solid a bit chunky like mom, I might add.Alex was also solid and old looking.It was a very good night which I called after they played Panama and Eddie was playing his solo at 10:45pm.I was home at 10:55pm........not a bad way to spend a Monday night in Raleigh!!

Welp, hello all.I'm going to the May 14th show.I'm on a big road trip from KC to see Radiohead.I discovered Radiohead really when I saw the Paranoid Android video on the TV for the first time.It was one of those 'Time Stood Still' moments and Radiohead played the soundtrack for it.So here I am today.I hope too see some people out there.Oh and I'll dump as many pics as I can up here.
